    That sounds delicious. They used to be able to make you drinks if you knew what was in it but the younger bartenders don’t seem as keen to do that. It doesn’t hurt to ask though.

    Excellent suggestion. Just to add to this there are 3 prices. 1) non refundable 2) advantage pricing 3) HIA The non refundable is the cheapest and as the name suggests is non refundable. The second is not showing on the website. You have to ask HAL or your TA for that pricing. This has no perks but is refundable. HIA is with various perks and is refundable.

    I wouldn’t say it often the gratuities are offered. They are included with the early booking bonus. What others ones are they included with? Most of the times I have not gotten gratuities lately.

    You bet I was and said the same. She completely ignored me. I don’t recall that happening since.

    In Mexico she insisted that I give her my room key even though I had my app open and ready to scan my e ticket. It was super annoying.

    I would book as soon as you are able to. It seems some like to wait until they board to book and get upset when there is no availability for the time they like.

    I had Bronx and Wall Street. I pretty much stick to those usually having Bronx. I quite enjoy them generally. I ordered mine on the app. The second time it looked odd on the app so I walked over after about 10 minutes and he told me the app wasn’t working. I hope they didn’t give you a leftover. It just doesn’t look right to me.

    Now you are getting an idea why the front desk is so useless. That pizza does look dry. Usually it’s better than that.

    They are telling the poster that they can’t use obc for anything. At this point are they trustworthy? The obc from owning shares is definitely non refundable.

    Probably board game, puzzles etc aren’t either 🙄. I’m not touching things that others have touched when I can avoid it. I’ve never had Covid and neither have any of my family members. I’ve never gotten Norwalk on a ship either.

    Now if you could get your Mariners discount on specialty restaurants booking ahead that would be great. They’ve been saying it’s coming for about 55 years now.

    I’m sure they have someone if they care too. I deal with a lot of people over teams at work. You can share your screen so it’s not a huge problem. Did that a lot during the darkest days of the pandemic. I’m sure hal has something comparable. The pcc’s were working from home long before the pandemic.

    I could see painting but colouring is a hard pill for me to swallow. By the way I tried the Amazon locker that you talked about on another thread. I never buy anything from Amazon as I’m not around to get it. This worked perfectly so thanks for the suggestion.

    I’ve had aft cabins on ships and they’ve been fine. I had an aft cabin (vista suite) on the koningsdam on the 4th floor. No way I’d book that cabin again. Way too much vibration and shimmy.

    Exactly. Pretty straightforward. I don’t know how that confusing. I didn’t hear one peep out if the op asking about hia obc 🙄.

    Probably because people don’t want to get their kindle stolen. How many people do you see on the ship saving their chair all day with a kindle? I would think zero or close to it.

    Holding a book that many others have had their hands on 🤮. There are people that never wash their hands. Probably lick their fingers to turn the page.

    Totally agree. The constant talk on here is to raise prices. The library brings in zero revenue. For those that must have a library, I think that’s the perfect place to start making revenue. It will help cover the cost of the books too.

    Exactly. I’ve brought this up before to be told it doesn’t happen. Looks like you are I are the only ones to see this. Probably the same reason there are no chairs on the promenade. Sleep spot # 2.

    I’m the one that said it was 5 or 5:15. I was told it was 5:45. I assume you aren’t talking about a hal ship leaving from Nola. Can’t speak about other lines.

    It is true. Why trust a person that has likely never been on a ship, or possibly seen one?

    I agree. I had zero problems getting my choice of booking times at any of the specialty restaurants on my last cruise. Even a couple days before. I generally go around 6 so it wasn't like I was going at 9:30 at night. A friend reported the same and he was on a 7 day cruise where I expect the bookings would be heavier. It's even worse for Canadian's (or non americans) with the exchange.
