  1. The best way to handle this is to research the flights you want - come up with a few options - and then ask the Air Desk for pricing and availability on all off them. Having a great flight with no layovers is worth a LOT...and for such a small cost. Be proactive - or have your TA be proactive.

  3. Apparently a lot of people are calling and not taking custom air...
  4. But they will turn you away if it is a special event for a small group...so be warned.
  5. I woukd hit the local bar and try to have a beer with one of the guys from Deadliest Catch....
  6. It would not be a fair bet as I know the date...
  7. That discount was a Regent special if I recall...the TA doesn't have any incentive to have you pay at time of booking. That's why it doesn't stack.
  8. There is no TA discount, they all get the same pricing (although there might be a "special" underwritten by either a consortium or Regent Account Manager). If a TA chooses to give a kickback to a client it wouldn't affect the shareholder credit. It is possible that another promotion conflicted though - or that the first shareholder credit was applied in error. Here is the fine print. *Credit is applied on a per stateroom/suite basis. There can only be one credit per shareholder reservation on any one sailing. If you are requesting shareholder onboard credit for two or more separate staterooms/ suites and shares are held jointly, a minimum of 100 shares per stateroom/suite booked must be held. Singles paying 200% are entitled to full onboard credit value. Any unused credit shall be forfeited and is not redeemable for cash. Benefit is non-transferable, excludes Reduced Rate programs (e.g. employee rates, interline, friends /family rates, vendor rates, cruises taken via cruise credit certificate, or free cruises earned through Oceania Cruises loyalty benefits), and travel agent rates, and charters. All shareholder benefit requests must be received at least fifteen days prior to sailing date. The Shareholder must own the Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. stock at time of sailing. Offer is valid only for new reservations made on or after January 7, 2019. It may not be used toward onboard service charges or pre-purchased activities. Government taxes and fees are additional. Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and/or Regent Seven Seas Cruises reserve the right to change or withdraw the offer at any time without notice, and are not responsible for typographical errors or omissions. Other terms and conditions may apply. Offer and combinability with other promotional offers is subject to change at any time per Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and/or Regent Seven Seas Cruises discretion. Other terms, restrictions, and conditions may apply. Not applicable to Chartered Dates and incentive Group Types.
  9. Because Regent says that TA's are not to discuss commission.
  10. Nope...an intentional pattern that was addressed by management.
  11. She announced it to everyone sitting across from her in a grand gesture.
  12. I could write a book about the Secrets of Regent....I might even sell 3 copies!
  13. I'd rather see people wearing camo than an 80 year old Regent passenger without underwear at dinner...they removed the chair from CR after she left.
  14. I don't think that is something that we are allowed to answer. I would have that discussion with your TA...and you could also mention that you don't really care if they get a commission on it or not and see what they think, lol!
  15. Yes sir. I agree they have had to get involved a number of times but they have always done so efficiently and effectively. While it is frustrating to spend hours on hold for them, that doesn't detract from the excellent and professional service they render to Regent's clients. The Air Desk is one of my favorite departments that I interact with.
  16. Well, if it was during the day he is free to wear them. If it was after 6, I don't think they meet the dress code. I can't remember the last time I was shocked by anything in this life...besides topics we shouldn't talk about here.
  17. I've not seen a case where the Regent Air desk was not helpful when needed....but I've only booked about 4,800 nights on Regent so my experience is limited.
