  1. @dani negreanu Dear Dani, I am so sorry that your hubby is in pain and that you had to cancel your half of the Anniversary Celebration and your birthday trip. 😞 You really needed that special getaway and reprieve from the stress in your part of the world. Hopefully, the source* of his pain will be discovered and he will be free of pain soon and you can reschedule your vacation. You and your hubby will be in my thoughts and prayers. πŸ™πŸ» 😚 Sue * I hesitated adding this… but it may help?? First of all, I’m not a dr or a diagnostician, and it’s probably none of my business, and I shouldn’t β€œsecond guess” your drs. … but I’m wondering if the drs. took any other types of images besides roentgen pics (x-rays?) While I was reading about your hubby’s symptoms and how the pain traveled from his back to his abdomen and went away and then returned, it reminded me of the gall bladder attacks that I used to get that took months to be diagnosed. The ER dr. who finally determined that I might have gallstones said that he thought I was having β€œreferred” pain and not the pain typically associated with gallbladder stones. He suspected that a stone might be migrating from my gall bladder and then get stuck in the upper duct (pain in upper abdomen and sternum) and then it would go back where it belonged and I would feel okay until it decided to travel again. Since this happened decades ago, I’m not sure which type of imaging was used. It may have been an X-ray or CT scan, but I really think it was an Ultrasound, because that’s what I needed to have when I had kidney stones that also liked to travel. By the way, the ER dr. was correct. I not only had one stone, but many, and my gallbladder was successfully removed laparoscopically.
  2. Yay!🀩 I’m glad you’re back with your regular programming!! πŸ₯³ AND… I certainly would NOT call it spam!! 😲 I love looking at your beautiful photos and learning about Australia!! 😊 Sue
  3. @dani negreanu Dear Dani, It’s only the wee hours of the morning where I am, but I think it’s close to β€œrise and shine” time for you, so I wanted to be sure that I had Happy Birthday greetings from me waiting for you when you log-in today! πŸŽ‰ πŸ₯³ πŸ’ I also wanted to thank you again for starting this thread almost 3 years ago and uniting so many of us from so many backgrounds and countries. We have been able to share our joys and rejoice together, share our troubles and comfort one another, and share advice and opinions on sooo many topics - all because of YOU! So, as this card states, I am: β€œWishing you another wonderful year of happiness and joy!” … and many, many more years to follow!!! πŸ₯°
  4. Thanks for the explanation, John. Now I can understand how downloading .mov videos just to view them would be a pain. πŸ€” I’ll look into how I can change a .mov to a .mp4 if I use my iPhone, but I usually only use my phone to take videos when I don’t have my big ol’ DSLR or my compact digital camera with me. So, I’ll check out ways I could convert the videos that I take with them, too.
  5. Cool. . . So that means that others with Samsung phones should be able to convert files from Mac/Apple devices, too? Yay! 🀩
  6. I was afraid of that. . . I think John @Ozark_Kid or our blue-eyed "cousin" πŸ˜‰ Mark @h20skibum knows how to convert the .mov files?
  7. Glad the video worked! I love the aft balconies! It will be great to have one for Alaska - especially when going through the glaciers! Best wishes for a great cruise! Sue
  8. I have a 13sec. clip of the wake but it's 75.2MB! Agh! I doubt it will load. Here goes. . . MVI_6293.mov That's all for now, folks. . .
  9. Now for some Wake Views. . . Leaving New York Harbor Leaving Bermuda Somewhere between Bermuda and New York/New Jersey heading north
  10. A few more Summit photos circa 2019 for @DaniDanielle and others interested in Summit refurb: Heli-port sail away from Bermuda View from the Bridge (part of what I think was called the Ultimate Tour?) Main Dining Room One of my favorite meals
  11. @DaniDanielle Agh! Hole in the carpet! 😱 Marietta, you'll definitely need to sail on her again! Especially since you live in NY and she sails out of Bayonne! I have lots of photos of our trip to Bermuda on her. I'll attach a few. I also have a few video clips of the wake, but since my phone, iPad, laptop, and computer are all Apple devices, I don't think the videos will show on non-Apple devices? I'll try one though and maybe someone can convert it? It's a little wider than this. The right side got cut off a bit. No more holes in the carpet. πŸ˜„ Looks like you could play a game of checkers?? A view from the mirror above the desk. There are no more loveseats. They replaced the loveseat with an oversized-chair that can be converted to a twin bed.
  12. Hoping you'll have a great time!! "poor soul, had nowhere to go πŸ˜‰ " Nooooo way. . . I think he really stayed because he wanted to spend some time with a group of lovely ladies!! You and your friends always look so cheerful!! 😁
  13. We were on the Summit in May of 2019 shortly after the refurb. They did a wonderful job! It looked like a new ship! It was the last ship that we were on before Covid canceled our next 3 cruises. 😒 We had one of the Aft balconies. The balcony was almost as big as the cabin! I loved watching and listening to the mesmerizing wake.
  14. πŸ˜‚ That’s what we call the High-Speed Fast Ferry β›΄ to Martha’s Vineyard! It’s never affected DH or me though. 🀞🏻
  15. @MJSailors Dear MJ, Hoping and praying that your EMG and your appointment with your doctor will have a positive outcome and you will be able to receive a successful treatment. πŸ™ Take care, Sue
  16. @Ozark_Kid Dear John, So glad that this hasn’t been scary for you and that Psalm 23:4 brings you comfort. πŸ™ It is heart-wrenching if/when we have to watch our loved ones worry about us, but you can be sure that we (Dani’s worldwide followers and I) will include Sharon and the rest of your family in our thoughts and prayers. Just from reading your posts about your family and seeing your photos, it is clearly evident that you and your family are loving πŸ’žand caring and devoted to one another. You and they are blessed! Take care, Sue
  17. @Ozark_Kid Dear John, I just wanted to let you know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and in my prayers while you are going through these stressful scans and appointments. And whatever the outcome is, I hope and pray that your doctors will be able to find a successful treatment for you. {{{Hugs}}} Sue
  18. Yay! I got it to upload, but now it's only a 2.6mb .png image. It's definitely not as clear as the original is on my laptop. I guess it will just have to be "the thought" that counts?? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ since I took about 10 screenshots for y'all. 😁
  19. Best wishes for a fantastic cruise! Pasted Graphic 3.tiff oops. . . I guess the screenshot I took of the PTZ TVwebcam sailaway coverage is the wrong format?
