  1. Not sure which poster you are responding to with this post, but I don't think anyone has suggested declining auto pay gratuity and paying zero tip.
  2. The staff has a list of people that removed auto gratuities on their previous cruise?
  3. I know we're not supposed to point out spelling errors, but I got a laugh out of this. Tipping really has gotten out of hand! 😉
  4. I agree. They had their own theater at Universal. I can't imagine where they would have performed at Disney.
  5. Where did anyone that's removing auto gratuities state that they weren't paying anything close to the same amount overall? Or is it just your opinion that those people pay less?
  6. Great comparison. You are right about Glacier Bay. Nothing compares to it.
  7. I'm pretty sure nobody here said they couldn't afford to tip.
  8. Thank you for your detailed post. I'm not sure you know the answer, but what's the point of crushing benadryl and mixing it with tea as opposed to just taking it in pill form?
  9. I think you entirely missed the point of my original question. You asked a question that was worded very confusingly and I was just asking for clarification. I am fully aware of everything you are saying. Reread post number 45.
  10. What? This sentence confuses me. "Switch" people? "Less $400-500"?
  11. I would guess (hope?) that people don't spend as much time in the casino because of the potential of losing a lot of money over such a long period of time.
  12. To what end? This gets into a question of where the line is drawn as it relates to paying for things that a person might or might not use. There are lots of things that we all pay for that some people use that others don't, such as rock climbing walls, pools, hot tubs, shows, musicians, etc. When we start saying "I only want to pay for what I use", that's a complicated issue, in my opinion.
  13. How do you know all of this? I'm not doubting you...it just seems like very specific information so I was wondering where it comes from.
