While food in general is certainly subjective, you have pointed out some things that are most definitely not subjective, and that have diminished the cruising experience for many.

I suspect that the advice about having a high credit limit might apply no matter what insurance you have, as it sounds like some services require payment up front, long before insurance would get involved.
Same here. I've never purchased the insurance, and I am WAY ahead of the game. I knew (and still know) that it is a gamble, but so far it has paid off for me.
This is so true. People should first check to see what their existing medical insurance covers before deciding anything about buying additional insurance. I suspect that many people overinsure.
I would hope nobody! But I would think most people spend a fairly significant amount of time in their cabin, and I was providing advice for choosing a cabin that has less motion and would thus be less likely to cause seasickness.
