The occupancy numbers will undoubtedly continue to rise to whatever parameters HAL establishes. Our 10 day cruise last February, on the Eurodam, was at approximately 58% occupancy.

A good friend and his wife booked through FlightEase for European roundtrip for this summer, 5 months ago. Just discovered that even though they paid for round trip, only the return trip was booked and no flight over. HAL representatives have no explanation as to how this happened or where their money for round trip went nor, after ongoing phone calls, do they seem concerned or even interested in helping. I would NEVER use HAL FlightEase after seeing how this couple is being treated.

Not a fan of NCL after only two cruises with them. However, I will say that I found the NCL Sun to be perhaps their best vessel and a nice midsized ship. Glad you enjoyed your Baltic Sea cruise.

It would seem that HAL, like others, now wants to eliminate as many staff members at the pier as possible. Trying to explain to my 89yr old friend, who I am cruising with on 3/9/22, how to use VeriFLY is almost impossible. I have our boarding passes and pictures on my Navigator App and that is enough for us plus vaccination cards and antigen results in hand. So, without using VeriFLY, it might actually take us an extra 5-10 minutes to board the ship which is just fine with us.
