  1. Yep - I was pretty surprised because of our cancellation/rebook... but there it was!
  2. Manage Reservation > Reservation Details > Under "Open Dining" you will see "Seating Time" and "Edit". If Anytime is available it will let you choose it.
  3. One thing to note is that there are a small number of dishes that are "exclusive" to that restaurant. However, all of the 4 share the same galley, so you can actually order exclusives from another. The bulk of the menu is the same across all four of the restaurants (and changes each night), so unless you like the decor of one so much more than the others, it's not really a big deal to be in the same one for the duration of the cruise. You won't be having Italian or French all the time unless you ordered as such. As well, the "exclusives" are the same throughout the entire cruise.
  4. I did a lift/shift to Edge (from the cancelled European Infinity itineraries when they decided to move the ship to the Caribbean for the fall) and was waitlisted at the time (January) for anytime - we sail in October. I just happened to look a few weeks ago and anytime was suddenly available so I snatched it up and made all of my reservations. If you are waitlisted I suggest you keep looking, they are not going to tell you if it suddenly becomes available - I was lucky!
  5. Being the Rick Steves fangirl that I am, I find this site he suggested invaluable for trains - even though it is German it has all the trains in Europe no matter what country you're in as it obviously communicates with all the regional companies! Thought I would post it for anyone else looking for the same... https://www.bahn.com/en
  6. Best. News. Ever. I'm a consummate planner and I have everything ready to rock but for some reason this piece was stressing me out the most because we have a day in Rome before/after our cruise so we won't be coming from the airport on a transfer. Can't beat door to door service, it was dumb that you had to get to the intermediary stop (I'm sure the taxi drivers are mad!). I imagine buses at the train station will be marked with your ship name then? (For departure)
  7. Thanks so much Jim. Our previous port is Naples (cruise begins/ends in Rome and also visits France/Spain so we will be in the EU already). We are being crazy people and going to Europe with carry-ons only (GASP!) so will look forward to getting off as soon as we can - just need to figure out when the train starts running from the port now but I'll look for departures around 7am or so, so we can get a bit of breakfast in. Doing a tour of the Vatican at 1pm so should give us plenty of time to dump our bags at the hotel and do a bit of sightseeing in between.
  8. Is this for a 5am arrival? Curious as our Edge cruise is to arrive at 5am so not sure when they're going to expect us out of the stateroom - we are the opposite though, we want off ASAP as we are flying home the next day so want to get as much Rome in as we can as we only have the night we return and the night before we depart.
  9. Ours was cancelled (Infinity) and because we did the lift & shift via them, everything was transferred. If we had just accepted the cancellation and booked ourselves all over again, I suspect that you'd lose out. We went from a 9 night Infinity to a 10 night Edge for the same price - still can't believe our luck.
  10. They're still adding excursions to our cruise in October (Italy/France) - they've definitely been slow coming. As well, we've actually booked and had one cancelled already haha. They will come but I know it's easy to get excited and want to plan soon!
