We stay almost only in full suites, and the elite perks have become less appealing. We dine anywhere if we wanted to experience different areas but mostly in the designated dining room. We are not picky eaters and didn't buy extra package. We buy internet and the speed is not bad maybe because we don't use internet for streaming. We trust the laundry services 1000% with our nice clothes, and DH's suits and have never had anything ruined. As long as the basic is met, food, laundry taken cared of, we are happy.

Price increased for two days on my voyage

They collected the cards. Once the party started, doors were closed, no one checked anyone walked into the room.

On our last cruise, we were having a 'farewell" captain's party for the Suite only guests in the Take Five room with live music and foods. There were big "Private party, Invitation Only" signs outside of both entrances of the Take Five. And yet, there were still people walked through it disregarding the requests for privacy. Some exclusiveness is necessary.

I don't get the point why one has to be told denied access in order to "get the message"? We disciplined our kids "No, you can't do this, or you can't do that". But adults should know to dress appropriately without being disciplined - a denied access onto the face is a discipline. If I were denied access into a nice restaurant because of inappropriate attire, I would be so embarrassed. Really bad advice here. Why push the limit? Only a low self-esteem person would follow your advice to try "every single night". If you get in with shorts one night out of 7 nights, would that make you proud?

From what we see, most people dine in MDR respect some level of "smart casual" attire on non-formal nights. I doubt jeans are even allowed in MDR with the exception on the embarkation nights.

Yes, definitely worth the upgrade to Club Class. When it comes to travel though, it is "less is more" to us, which meant "less quantity / more quality". They are not too much different in price except for a full suite.

Nice picture, thanks for sharing! Did you have to take excursion to see the lights? If so, was it the excursion through Princess? Were you able to see the lights on the ship or has to be on land? Sorry so many questions!

Sorry to mention that our experience was at Enchanted and the airport was FLL. "EZ pre check luggage option to your flight" was in my own words. Princess allows to directly check in luggages to the flight and were given a disembarkation color tag for that disembarkation group.

On a different subject, there was a "white / gold" attire night that caught us off guard!

Toward the end of the cruise, you will be given disembarking options. If you use the EZ pre check luggages option to your flight, which we did, we got the earliest disembark time at 7:30am. Be ready at the dedicated waiting area early! At around 7am, we were told to ready to disembark, by 8am we were sitting at the airport terminal. Our flight was 12 noon booked from Princess, a really long wait. we wish we could fly home a lot sooner. But still 9:30am flight is a bit tight.

One thing we haven't tried is specialty dining. We did not go to the free specialty dining on the embarkation night that came with the booking. Not really free there is a price cap if read carefully. It has nothing about affordability, we are glad we are not picky eaters.
