I don't know whether things have changed, but at one time folk had to be careful to use up any non-refundable credit on the on-board accounts of each person in the party.
Typically a couple will use just one person's card for pretty-well all purchases. So if OBC is credited 50/50 to each of them they have to be sure to use the second card for enough purchases to use up that OBC or they lose it.
Does that still apply?
JB :)
When I sailed on the Serenade OTS in March 2017 they transferred all my spouse's OBC and charges to my account on a daily basis and we were able to get a cash refund of unused OBC from GS the night before the cruise ended.

Looking forward to your review. Love Theo he is too cute!

Don't know who your cell phone provider is but sometimes they have better plans you can sign up for during "cruise time".
-
I use cruisetimetables.com. Enjoy your cruise!

Don't know if your cruise offers it but we have a ship excursion "Best of Aruba" in March that does a few stops of the island including the factory. I can't say if it's good or not because I have never done it but it may be another option for you.

I always bring a copy of anything I've done precruise. Hotel reservations, parking, OBC, drink packages etc just in case. We had a problem once with some OBC from our TA and was able to get credit for it since I had our invoice.

Sorry. I know that's a part of the excitement but as long as you have your Sea pass the luggage tags you can always get at the port but I would keep checking.🙂

I never got my email finally just went and took a peek at my cruise planner and it said my docs were issued! Printed and ready to go! Hope your as lucky.

I have both issues. The first is solved as swixpat says. All the information does not fit in the box so you have to slide down to"read" the whole thing then the box will highlight and you can check it. I still however cannot print my luggage tags but reading FAQ it says they will come available after 50 day mark. This is my first time with Royal so I guess I will wait and see.

My daughter is a special ed teacher so she has to have quick release ones for work which are pretty hard to find so I learned how to make them and it is pretty easy. You can use customized ribbon, shoelaces, cord, whatever is comfortable around your neck then whatever type of clasp you chose.

My daughter did hers on a riverboat in New Orleans and had shot glasses with different maradi gras themes with candy hearts in them.

Can you get a smaller cheaper bouncy seat that you could use just for your cruise?

Sorry I can't remember the company we used when we went in in August a few years ago but it was a smaller excursion and when we went into port we're told the water was to rough for them to sail. However, there are several booths set up right in town selling other whale watching tours with similar pricing. Since it is just DH and I and we had already seen several whales from the ship we opted to just walk around the town. I hope you and the family have a wonderful tour don't forget the binoculars!

I planned my daughter's wedding on a 3 hr riverboat cruise in New Orleans. The Captain married them and we had our own venue on the boat to eat, drink, dance etc. all provided by the boat. Don't know if something like that might work for you the you and your spouse can do the cruise as a honeymoon.

I too agree with what kilfrodo said. If you choose to go with a private tour company just make sure you do some research first on their reviews and cancellation policies. My husband and I have done a mix of both of as well and have never had any problems. Depends on the ports and your comfort level.

Ten years or so when booking my first cruise I had no idea where to start so I picked a TA who is very popular big online. Got an agent and they charge the same 24.99 fee. Had a wonderful time. Fast forward till today with the internet and this wonderful board. Have read some OLD bad reviews on the agency but I still call and ask for the same agent and still pay the 24.99 fee because he has always answered all my questions, called me back in a timely manor, called me about price drops, and explained a lot of how things work over the years. Maybe I just got lucky.

I've had both knees scoped. Basically "cleaned out". My ortho dosent want to do full replacements yet because he says I need to wait a few yrs if I can to get the full benefits. The scopes have done a lot of good however it's amazing. I do still get cortisone shots before I cruise and I wrap my knee in the elastic bandage at night. My Otho also gave me Mobic which is just an anti inflammatory on as needed basis. It is easier going up steps then down and I like taking the steps also. Good luck and enjoy your cruise.

We put packing tape on them first just to give them a little more substance then just staple them to the bags. But yes try to wait as long as possible to minimize the risk of them being torn off.

We always book an inside cabin. We like to spend our money on other things and don't spend much time in it anyway. I turn on the TV to the outside cameras for my window. I put a clothesline up in the bathroom to hang our suits on.

Sounds like so much fun! I'm on the Sensation a week later or I would be there. Never got to go to camp as a young scout myself but was a leader and ensured my daughter got the wonderful experience every year. She is now a counselor herself at Camp Sycamore. Have a great time!

Is there a favorite cousin or other family member close to her age that maybe could split the fair with you she could "hang out" with. Don't know if that's a financial option but we have taken friends of DD on ski trips before and it worked out wonderfully.

Right below the white Cruise Critic banner there is a yellow banner with about 15 links beginning with User CP. Coutdown Clocks is halfway over. Click on it and follow the instructions. Just ask if you need any other info.

We try to drive whenever we can. Flew to the port in Seattle and I was stressed the majority of the day. Not a fun way to start my vacation! We plan stops so not to get over stressed about the drive and sometimes find something interesting to see at the stop. We are both retired military so we do get discounts at hotels but it is a fun addition to the vacation and I get to see some more interesting sights. I love the old maps too. We still bring the GPS though just in case lol.

And as CB at sea guidebooks are great also. You can make copies and take them with you and toss later if you want. DH and I have found many wonderful hole in the wall restaurants this way. Let us know what u do.
