A helpful tip I’ve picked up is a travel journal. You can write down things about the trip and ports etc. This has helped DH and I not only to remember where we have been but when we recall the trip and he asks remember that guy oh what was his name I most likely wrote about it. Might not help you for the past but something for the future.

huh? is this a Carnival policy? cuz the only times I have ever seen exceptions to the age requirement is when you are on orders. not even the Coast Guard would consider a Carnival cruise job related.
besides your average 20 year enlistee isn't going to have time to take Leave in most cases.
From Carnival FAQ website
Exceptions: Guests under the age of 21 may travel without a relative or guardian of 25 years of age or older under the following conditions:Qualified Military Personnel
- Applies to US Military Personnel and Canadian National Defense personnel (and their traveling companions in the same stateroom) of 18 – 20 years of age.
- Copy of proof of service must be provided at embarkation. Failure to provide documentation or not conforming to this policy will result in denied boarding and no compensation will be provided.
Military personnel receive 30 days of leave (vacation) a year so why wouldn't they have time to go on a cruise?
- Applies to US Military Personnel and Canadian National Defense personnel (and their traveling companions in the same stateroom) of 18 – 20 years of age.

If she is military then the companion only needs to be 21 and they don't have to be married.

Here's a Cruise Critic article from September 2017

Are the cups good on another cruise or just the one you purchased them for? Just wondering if they lost a revenue stream because of technology.

I read on another thread that a cruiser doing a B2B said he was only able to use his cup from the first cruise for a day into his second.

The Miami Herald article has been updated to say the delay was caused by a mechanical problem.
This story has been corrected to show the reason for the ship's delayed return was mechanical error, not the sickness.

We did reservations for my time dinning while we were on the Seranade. There are two separate lines one for those who had reservations plus diamond members and then everyone else. We never had to wait more then a minute or so.

MarineTraffic shows the Grandeur moored in St Maarten about an hour ago.
But I guess that was already reported by Biker19

Well, because when I get on the ship, there’s a lot of people there. And throughout the cruise there’s a lot of people there. And when I get off the cruise, there’s still a lot of people there. Telling me a vast majority of people on that cruise did not fly home early.

How do you know that they weren't still there because they didn't have a passport to be able to depart early. :)

I also found a guy filling the insulated coffee pot he received during his morning breakfast and taking it back to his room. Thought that was pretty smart to keep it and use the rest of the cruise through out the day. He did mention he washed it out after each fill.

I pretty sure I 'm not the guy you saw, but I learned that trick from my brother on my first cruise in 2005. Had to hide the carafe from the cabin steward each day so he wouldn't take it when cleaning the room.

Which the OP could have easily found by typing "ships in port" into Google and clicking on the very first hit.
DON
It came up as the second hit when I googled "ships in port" but yeah google is a good resource. :)

I have found that for the most part, bartenders will avoid or ignore guests with the soda cups, or they would tell me to use a freestyle machine. There were a few exceptions of course, and I made sure to tip them individually.

So this is not your first experience purchasing the soda package on a ship with Freestyle machines? But you were surprised by the 18% added charge?

I don’t deal with ballgowns often but I deal with tulle In tutus. I either use a spritz bottle with fabric softener and warm water or hang it in the bath while a warm shower is running. Either tend to get the wrinkles and static out.

First time cruisers in inside cabins *are* TP. Surely you don't expect me to wipe my own butt, do you? I happen to be meteor status on Zap cruise lines and this is just one more bit of personal service they provide. Royal needs to step up or I will be doing my business elsewhere.
Hopefully not at the potty pads for the service animals.

Thanks for posting this Daisy. Got me more excited about my upcoming cruises on the ship.

Ahhhh Key word here was refurbishing in February 2018 for the Grandeur DaisyMae. is that what you know, anyone else able to chime in on that? We all know it's not a long dry dock process but has there been any word out on what's going to be done ?
We're booked on a 12 nighter in March.
Thanks for the help..
Are you on the 3 March sailing?
Is there a webpage where it show each RC ship cruise by month?
