  1. Just a friendly reminder. Be sure to check out the current prevailing rate for Aqua, which would include the AI. It might be a better deal.
  2. Your booking is a cruise only booking without the AI? It does include WiFi or the regular crew gratuities?
  3. Any drink with alcohol that is included within the Classic drink package is also included if you have them make it without alcohol.
  4. I have read that the most accurate method to see your status/modify a bid is to use the bid confirmation e mail/link. I recall some people having an issue using the link that you referenced for status checking.
  5. Valid point and the service is very convenient as long as you flight time and airport meet the requirement. For instance Princess offered the service only for flights from FLL and not Miami. . You should do research before you book other lines, because this service is not offered on many of them. Easy enough to find out, but no guarantee. Good luck.
  6. Princess has been offering the service to FLL from Port Everglades for some time, so there is hope.
  7. I believe a reservation is owned by one person and it can be either one of you. If you both have individual Celebrity accounts and you want to be the main owner, then try being the first one to log in and “claim” the reservation after it is booked And enter all information and make all selections with that log in. As an alternative, clarify with your TA when you book the reservation. I had an issue with Celebrity many years ago, because I have a Jr. at the end of my name. The booking engine and the Captain Club system handle the Jr. differently. To solve this issue I always book our reservation with my wife as the owner. Her name is on the reservation as the primary owner. I just enter all my contact information on her account and I never log into my account. It is her account, but I manage it. It is possible that this bug has been fixed, but I do not want to risk it. I just stick with what works. I know it it is odd, but you might want to try one of the two ideas. Feel free to call me weird.
  8. I am confident that that policy is long gone!!
  9. Not surprised. Good news for those that pre purchased the coffee package.
  10. Many reports stating that one cannot swap out the mini bar set up for the Coffee package, so unless Princess changes the program you will be disappointed in that part of the policy. I suspect the two prepaid purchased ones will be honored.
  11. I agree that most Coffee packages were from swaps or Plus/Premier packages. Are you saying that you have read postings where Princess actually reneged on a Purchased Coffee Package. Someone on a cruise? is there anyone currently on a cruise that are using a Coffee package that they previously purchased?
  12. I do not believe what they said. If Princess was currently cancelling Coffee packages previously purchased, a lot of people would be really complaining.
  13. I woukd make sure that you have not book any private excursions with your friends.
  14. Post 232 above suggests your friends might be able to buy one. Does it look like that it is really an option? He did not actually purchase one to see if the system would actually allow you to purchase one on board. (Poster already had one) Maybe your friends can be a test case for CC assuming they want one. can the old package actually be purchased in board. I have my doubts.
  15. I believe Princess may have some time ago also eliminated the wine bottle packages
  16. When did you book the cruise? It might make a difference. Great question. I suspect you will need to pay the prevailing rate for the Standard non Plus option, but it is worth checking out. walji might be correct. Does your invoice/booking paperwork list the Plus package as an add in or is it built into your base fair? I had booked the $40 a day one before the Plus package was created and it was in my base rate.
  17. Interesting, because the exact same limitation exists in the Princess’s free messaging using their intranet.
  18. You will find the Classic package fairly close (maybe exactly the same) to what it was like in your Pre Covid cruises. (Except the price you may have paid) A little perplexed about you HH Elite comment. Did you find that many of the HH drinks were not available with you previous Classic package? Which ones?
  19. Especially since in my experience all they do it take out the entire contents, put it in a cloth laundry bag and put it under the bed. I would just make sure that they put it back on the last night. I am fairly certain that it is the room service staff that do the inventory. As far as I know the cabin steward never counted or inventoried anything.
  20. You definition of swill is different than most people’s definition. I now always get the Premium package, but I think this is a very nice and generous list of options for those without a drink package.
  21. I suspect you have learned from the more recent posts that there are significantly more upgraded non alcoholic drinks that you get with the Zero Proof package over the non alcoholic portion of the Classic package. Per your post they offered to downgrade you the Zero Proof and gave you a choice. Since you cannot and do not drink alcohol it was a great offer. Others have not been so lucky. What’s it to me? I just seemed from you various posts that you did not have a clear understanding. It is a different story is a person drinks alcohol.
