Thank you Lenda. I try to be nice to everyone and most of the time it is appreciated especially by workers doing jobs for me.

Thank you Maureen. Our water company is privately owned. If there are any burst pipes they respond very quickly. The first emergency engineer turned up within 45 minutes and took photos and relayed them back to the company then he commenced trying to turn the mains off. Their insurance company called the clean up team as it was their burst pipe on a public street so we did not have to contact our home insurance company. Our water,gas and electric companies are all excellent in emergencies.

Thank you. We always do this when any workmen are doing any work for us.

Thank you Joy. Everything looks like it did before the burst pipe in our cul de sac now after the cleaning team have finished. Pauline is at work today and we hug all of the time but tonight when i pick her up from work I will tell her a lovely poster said to give her an extra hug which we will both appreciate. Thank you for your excellent work on our lists Vanessa @JazzyV. The workmen have been here this morning and cleared our front drive and garden and cleaned several drains that were blocked with sand/ gravel debris from the water pipe leak on Friday. I hope you are feeling a lot better today.

The clear up team after the burst water pipe have finished and have done a great job power hosing our front and clearing several drains of sand and pebbles. 3 interesting days. Les Dawson was a brilliant comedian. I worked in a bank for 3 years after working for 1 year in a Travel agency after leaving grammar school. Interesting food and drink today. We had an enjoyable day in Aruba on our cruise on Crown Princess in January 2007. I hope everyone is well and looking forward to a lovely day. Take care and God bless.

The rain is pouring down here. The 2 men from the clean up team after the burst water pipe are here power hosing out side. They like my chocolate/ sugar sweets samples and tea and coffee which they deserve working in the bad weather outside.
