Knaresborough has a nice but small market Square just off the long main road running through the town. Nice pub and garden opposite the entrance to Old Mother Shiptons cave. I'm sure you will have a great day and Harrogate is very close as well. York is an amazing city and the Designer shopping outlet just off the A64 is excellent too.

Old Mother Shiptons cave is a tourist attraction on the outskirts of Knaresborough on the main road to Harrogate. Harrogate is about 4 miles from Knaresborough and much better imo.

Thank you Lenda. There is a form online you fill in to request a birthday/anniversary for yourself or family member and usually you have to send a copy of birth/marriage certificate as proof. Buckingham palace office then ensure the birthday/anniversary greetings are sent out.

What a lovely surprise. We contacted Buckingham Palace about my late parents 60th anniversary 13 years ago and her majesty the Queen sent them a 60th anniversary card.

Good afternoon from the beach. We called at the cemetery to put flowers and tidy up Pauline's gran and grandad's grave and her baby brothers grave. We ended up at our local beach where we had a lovely snack. I hope everyone is well.

Thank you for today's reports and also to our food and beverage and care list team. Sellotape is a very useful item with many uses. Sunscreen is important and should be applied regularly when sunbathing to help protect against skin cancer. Interesting quote. I will give today's food and drink a miss.
