Thank you Joy. Sarah's parents live next door to us. We have 2 detached houses and still live next door to them for over 40 years. Sarah is 42 now and does the same civil service job as Pauline. When Sarah was a child she was in our house for hours every day. When Pauline and her sisters mam's dementia got bad 7 years ago her sister walked away and never saw her mam for the last 4 years of her life leaving Pauline,her brother and me to care exclusively for her mam. They have wanted nothing to do with any of us a year after I had paid for a 30 day luxury cruise and stay around Australia and New Zealand for them including their spending money 8 years ago. It is very sad but unfortunately not all of us are nice people. Graham.

Good evening it is 23.09pm. We have been at 2 hospitals today with our Sarah for over 11 hours. Her diagnosis is a slipped disc in her spine pressing on a nerve with fluid leaking. She had an x-ray at one hospital and the doctor sent us to the regional Major hospital where she had a CT scan and MRI scan.

Thank you Katie. Paulines sister is Sarah's mam but they stopped communicating with Sarah 7 years ago. We have been in hospital for 11 hours today with Sarah. Only 1 person is allowed in with Sarah so because we didn't know how long she would be I spent 11 hours in the hospital cafes waiting for information. We took her home at 21.30pm. Graham

Many thanks to you all for your good wishes for Sarah. She had an x-ray at one hospital then her doctor sent her to another hospital where she had a CT scan and an MRI scan. She has a slipped disc pressing on a nerve with fluid leaking. They gave her Oramorph for the pain. Her doctor will advise her treatment tomorrow.

All excellent ports. I would stay at least 1 night preferably more in Barcelona Pre-cruise. Nice is lovely but a tour to Monaco/Monte Carlo is popular. Ajaccio port is nice to walk around plus it is the birthplace of Napoleon. Florence itself is a distance from the port but is well worth visiting. Pisa has the leaning tower but not much else and the bus drops you over half a mile from the centre. Rome is about 1 hour from the port with a number of tours available. Graham.

Good morning. It is currently 6°C and sunny. We have been to the hospital this morning with our Sarah as her doctor sent her for back x-rays while waiting to get her an MRI scan resulting from her epileptic fits.
