  1. Good afternoon. It is currently 66°F and sunny in our back garden. Thank you for today's daily and fleet reports Rich. We have a number of lighthouses around the rugged coast of the UK. A true friend is priceless. It is always best to forgive although sadly somethings are unforgivable. A very true quote today. Salmon sounds great. Prayers for everyone who is unwell. Prayers also for our friends in Israel and Ukraine. Congratulations to all who are currently or soon to be cruising. Wishing everyone a happy and safe day. Graham.
  2. Sorry to hear you have had a bad reaction Nancy. I hope you are feeling a lot better today. It is 62°F and sunny here this morning. Graham.
  3. I would do exactly what Biker suggested. In my experience of a few cruise lines each complaint is looked at individually. Good luck. Graham.
  4. Welcome and thank you for some wonderful photos. Paulines favourite cousin emigrated to Adelaide 17 years ago because some of her husband's family lived in Perth and they had skills Australia wanted. They always ask us to come out as it is a wonderful country. Graham.
  5. Fantastic. I hope you are having a wonderful cruise. Graham
  6. We are fairly North and only 75 miles from the Scottish border. London normally gets the highest UK temperatures. Spain and Italy are traditional hotspots especially Spain for sunbathing holidays. My late mam and dad first took me to Spain when I was 12 years old nearly 54 years ago. Pauline and I have holidayed in Spain many times.
  7. The roof of the sunset bar obscures the aft views on 9,10,11 and 12. This was the view from our cabin 14739 on Iona which we have had twice and booked again for next year.
  8. Sending our condolences to your friends family Greg. Congratulations to your friends son who is getting married today.
  9. Good Evening. It has been a lovely day 70°F. After driving home over Kirkstone Pass yesterday which has amazing mountain views it got us talking comparisons with the Norwegian Fjords. I went to my TA this afternoon and booked a Fjords cruise from Southampton England next year in an aft balcony. Graham.
  10. We drove over the Kirkstone Pass yesterday on our way home from Windermere in the Lake District. The views are awesome which got Pauline talking about the Norwegian Fjords. I called into my local TA and booked us a weeks cruise in an aft balcony from Southampton England up to the Fjords and back to Southampton next year on P&O.😃
  11. That is Fantastic news Debbie. I'm really pleased for your sister. Graham.
  12. Best wishes for your test and then I hope you have an amazing cruise on Equinox.
  13. Good afternoon from a sunny 64°F North East England. Thanks to both Rich and Roy who supply the information every day and Debbie for helping our food choices. Hiroshima day is a worthy reminder of our past. Soul, Motown Gospel and Blues are my preferred music choices in this order. Farmworkers deserve our thanks for feeding us. Not sure about the food and drink. Prayers for everyone to be well. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend. Take care and enjoy yourselves. Graham.
  14. Our cabins are right at the back of Iona and Britannia. I added photos from 2 different class of Royal Caribbean ships to my previous post which confuses the layout working out. On our Ventura Superior Deluxe cabins the sofa sitting area was near the balcony. Graham.
  15. This was Britannia in May. Iona layout is the same. You are right Sarah. I know Royal Caribbean Oasis class ships have alternative cabins with the right side of the bed near the balcony and sofa nearer the bathroom. The second photo is Independence of the seas a Freedom class ship. The third picture is Explorer of the seas a Voyager class ship. Graham.
  16. Good morning. It is a sunny 59°F in our back garden at present. Wishing everyone a lovely weekend. Graham.
  17. Our favourites in the Lake District. Bowness on Lake Windermere. Ambleside. Grasmere. Keswick. Kirkstone Pass has fantastic views from Windermere up to Lake Ullswater where one of our favourite hotels Inn on the Lake at Glenridding is located. Prince William and Kate visited here.
  18. Thank you MJ. Manchester International airport is the nearest to Windermere. Ships dock in Liverpool which is 100 miles from Windermere. Your best bet is to stay for a couple of nights in the Bowness/Windermere area. Paulines late mam shared our cabin on P&O Ventura for her 90th birthday and had 6 cruises with us in her 80s. Graham.
