  1. Having spoken to insurance Loss adjusters the first thing they do if you report a burglary is they check your social media. It is wise to have someone living at your home if you advertise you are away on Social media.
  2. Thank you Debbie. It is always nice to chat with you.
  3. It does cover us but if you highlight on Social media with photos that you are away from home and we had a burglary the insurance Loss Adjuster would turn down any claim because they check social media and if it highlights we are away even though we have CCTV and alarms they would turn down any claim as irresponsible. This is why I Never do a Live From review or tell anyone we are away until we are back home.
  4. Thank you Bob. Back to reality today but still a sea view.
  5. Thank you Mark. We enjoyed every minute of our cruise.
  6. Thank you Marietta. I hope you and Charlie are both well.
  7. Thank you Sharon for your lovely comments. Normal operating capacity is 5200 guests. 1800 crew. 184,700 tons. The cruise after us has over 2000 children on board so capacity will be well over 6,000 passengers. We never felt the ship was crowded though.
  8. Good morning. Pauline had to go to work today for 1 day so after taking her I got a cheesy bacon flatbread and coffee and went to the beach on the way home to eat it. It is a little misty but a sea view nonetheless although not as good as our aft sea view on P&O Arvia. I wish everyone a lovely day.
  9. Good morning. After dropping Pauline off at work I got a coffee and cheesy bacon flatbread for my breakfast and called at the beach on the way home. It is high tide and a bit sea fret but a sea view nonetheless although not as good as our aft balcony view on Arvia.
  10. Good morning. I dropped Pauline off at work and called at the beach with a coffee and cheesy bacon flatbread on the way home. Not as nice as our aft balcony view but a sea view anyway. Take care and stay safe friends.
  11. Anyone who uses a wheelchair or motor scooter has to let P&O know in advance of their disabilities so there are enough crew to help them in an emergency. It is a while since we had to use a tender but we have St Peter port Guernsey on our next cruise so will report back to you Roy.
  12. Good morning. Thank you to everyone who read and commented on our cruise thread on P&O yesterday. It is 62°F and partly sunny here at 06.34 am. It was 66°F and humid last night at 23.30pm. I hope everyone here has a good night's sleep and a wonderful day today.
  13. Good morning. It is 62°F and cloudy here at 06.19am. It was a humid night last night. Thank you everyone for your nice comments about our cruise. I hope everyone is safe and well and y'all have a wonderful day.
  14. Good morning. 17°C and cloudy here. It was humid last night. I hope everyone got a good sleep and have a nice day today.
  15. Jacqui @kazu. What beautiful wedding photos. Sending you my heartfelt good wishes for today.
  16. We have had 25 P&O cruises out of Southampton England which is our preferred departure port for the Mediterranean and Canary Islands cruises. I am always happy to give you advice if you need it.
  17. Yes 14743 a couple of cabins from you. Adonis was our cabin steward. We said hello a few times to you both in the corridor not realising we both posted on cruise critic. I never say when we are away so you wouldn't know we were both P&O regular posters.
  18. Nice to hear from you. I understand it is possible especially when P&O sail in the Caribbean.
  19. We missed the ex marine speaker. Thanks for the advice on 710 club which we will go to next time. I'm pleased you had a fantastic cruise too.
  20. Thank you for your nice words. I really wanted to do a live from review but home insurance would have been void if I highlighted we were away. It was our first time on Arvia but we have been on Iona 6 times. Another good thing is we will be Caribbean loyalty for our next P&O cruise.
  21. Thank you Denise. You are one of the nicest people on here.
  22. No we never went there. I think we all are a stone heavier after all the delicious food we ate. I had pre-booked the Take That tribute in the theatre for 8.30pm. We walked past at 7.45pm and there was a long queue and as I can't stand for long we decided to give it a miss. 1 morning there was a retired airline pilot guest speaker in the theatre which we went to and it was interesting.
