  1. We do an annual policy from Allianz. Covers all trips - we take several international trips per year and is a much better value than cruise lines insurance and more comprehensive
  2. And so they listened to what is nothing more than a reps opinion. No one including the rep can guarantee it would be fine. They should have either insisted NCL change it or change it with the airline. I am sorry, but so many of these poor me stories on the internet are nothing more than people doing a little research and being responsible for themselves. They make poor decisions and then cry on the internet and look for someone else to blame.
  3. There is a smoking area for Haven guests up on the Sun deck
  4. I always book our own air and transfers and have never let a cruise line book them. We are on that cruise next year and I already booked the air, business class RT as I won't do economy for long flights though have done premium economy if business is way too high
  5. Athens Capital Center Hotel by M Gallery. Next to parliament and across from Grand Bretagne and Syntagma Square. Excellent hotel, rooftop pool and bar with view of the Acropolis and amazing staff, Can walk to all the sites in 15 min or less,
  6. Honestly, we always avoid HOHO buses. You end up stuck in traffic, barely able to glimpse anything, and spend the day with only other tourists with no flavor of the city. A full day Athens transport pass for metro/tram/buses is only about 5EUR. the metro can get you into Athens from the port and the major sites are not only within a few blocks of each other, but also not easily visible from the streets the HOHO buses need to use so you will see little of the true highlights of Athens on them. Better to use public transport and walk and really experience the city
  7. Your ticket should also exactly match your passport. Also, double check your flights as Alitalia ceased operations in 2021. ITA Airlines is operating with some old Alitalia equipment but as a far smaller airline which is also in financial trouble - Lufthansa is purchasing a majority stake in them to try to bail them out.
  8. That is very tight in Denver as the arrival time is when the plane touches down. Then the departing flight will close doors 15 minutes before departure time so if all goes according to schedule you actually have about 30 minutes to connect.
