Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We are going on the Vista the first week in December (12/2-12/10) from Port Canaveral….
  2. After our first ocean view cruise we have always done balconies- except for two “upgrades” one free grand suite and $240 ocean suite. We have had 2 separate cruises on the Legend, Liberty, Sunshine (Legend was out of Tampa to western, and Alaska- was supposed to go on the Legend again for the Panama Canal but it was during COVID, so when we finally did the cruise 3 years later it was with the Pride.) Our first “meal” is always Guy’s burger and a beer🍺 We have always stayed on decks 4, 6, 7, and 8 preferably in the back. I always choose our cabins- and they HAVE to be even- portside…. We live in Florida, so my most favorite cruise was Alaska. We have ony cruised Carnival- but plan on cruising the Rhine river next year!
  3. Can you please let me know what night the elegant/formal nights are? Thanks!
  4. I go through AARP for my travel insurance. They have different companies to choose from, and I believe they are cheaper than Carnival insurance. But then again, I have not had to use it……
  5. Does anyone know if the gym on the Vista has a rowing machine? We will be on the Vista this December and would like to get some exercise in on sea days! Thank you in advance~Karil
  6. This is the menu I found on Carnival’s site- it show the wasabi mashed potatoes and for the surf and turf it says Maine lobster…. https://www.carnival.com/~/media/Images/explore/dining/menus/steakhouse-menu.pdf we will be on the Pride Saturday, and eating at the steakhouse the first night, so I will find out!
  7. Thank you everyone for the answers! I have a concept 2 in my house, so it will be perfect! And maybe I can get my husband to row too!!!
  8. Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a rowing machine on the Pride. We will be on the Pride Feb. 4, 2023 for 8 days, and would like to exercise to burn some of those calories, and rowing tends to work for me! 😂 thanks in advance!
  9. I always pick port side- usually non smoking side.
  10. On our Liberty cruise August 26th, the Carnival rep just wanted to see VeriFLY- showed him that and we were good to go. Did not have to pull out any paperwork. (We are fully vaccinated)
  11. We have a suite for our next cruise, and we received the email saying our room will be ready when we embark.👍🏻
  12. Hi- Does anyone know where we can get propel water on the Carnival Liberty? I would think all bars, but not sure. We have CHEERS, and would like propel instead of regular water. Thanks in advance!
  13. We cruise 8/26 to Nassau (3 day cruise) and have not received the email that requires a negative test to the Bahamas yet. Has anyone received an email for their cruises at the end of the month to the Bahamas yet?
