  1. Also, VAT on drinks is 10% isn’t it? This shows the VAT was charged at %20
  2. Can someone help me out here as I’m getting confused. I have a cruise in November that starts in Barcelona and only visits EU ports. Will I be charged the 10% vat on all drinks for the entire cruise or just the days in Spanish waters?
  3. I'm 36 days out and haven;t had an email for either the preferences or the pre-cruise concierge 😞
  4. Mine shows a balance of -£780 so I'm hoping they sort it out soon I only have 37 days until we go.
  5. VAT returns are not available for food and beverage purchases.
  6. One of our little pleasures on a cruise is to have a movie night one night of our cruise. We get room service/pizza and some popcorn if its available and have a nice cosy night. It's great to recharge for the evening and have some quality relaxation time.
  7. I would envisage the crib immediately beside the bed should work in relation to the space required or near the sofa. It will be tight though. I'm sure they have put cribs in all room types I just think its something you'll have to deal with.
  8. When you say cater for these things what exactly are you looking for them to offer you? You're right in that it may be cramped but unfortunately the room design doesn't allow for a huge amount of room in the first place.
  9. My OH loves a margarita made with Mezcal (a 'smokey-rita' he calls it) so he's very excited to drink those on our Prima cruise in Nov.
  10. We came off Brilliance two weeks ago and whilst rooms and public areas aren't 'modern' the ship is very well looked after and the crew are by far the friendliest, most customer focused team we've ever experienced on RC. I was so surprised how much I enjoyed the ship!
  11. Thanks Everyone for the replies. Quick update: I have now booked flights to Bologna instead of Venice and have called RC and booked airport transfers which were a very reasonable £60 pp return (so £30 each way!). Very happy with that!
  12. That's not showing up on my cruise planner. is it something that is booked while on the ship?
  13. I should have thought more about where the terminal was shouldn't have I :). Goodness, now I have to work out how to get to and from the terminal 🙂
  14. We're taking our first comp'd Casino Royale Cruise in Oct to/from Venice. Luckily we have some excess airmiles piled up (handy for keeping the costs down!) but our flight options for the return from Venice are limited to 1130am and 9pm. My question is, from experience, do you think there's enough time to get to the airport from the ship for the 11:30am flight? It would be my preference compared to hanging around 12+ hours with luggage for a flight home, We'd be happy to self disembark if that would make it quicker so does anyone have any idea what time they normally start to allow passengers off? Many thanks in advance.
  15. I really wouldn't worry! You'll be on in no time! I've never had to wait around in Southampton to get on board. The only queue I ever have had is security and that's understandable. You'll have a wonderful time!
  16. Last time we embarked from Southampton in a full suite there was a separate security / check in line for suite/elites but because it wasn't busy they didn't use it. To be fair it's just exciting to get on so I wouldn't be overly concerned about the port side 'features' 🙂
  17. Hi, If you therefore don't bring a bottle on when you initially board but buy a bottle while in another port, do you have to pay the $20 charge or will they allow you to take that on to use in the room as your free bottle?
  18. Have a wonderful time! We're doing the 14 day segment of this cruise in early August from Athens and cannot wait!
