  1. Serenade is one of our favorite ships. We love this ship class - perfect size and feel more like how a cruise should feel. IMO, the speciality restaurants are in a great location with nice views too! I base my specialty dining bookings on MDR menus. Booking on night 1 is a nice way to settle into your vacation. Enjoy whatever you decide.
  2. Definitely earn points quicker on slots.
  3. I know what you are asking, they post the QR codes for various points near the casino host or wall near cashier. Maybe someone on a current cruise has downloaded the lists. Might want to ask on casino thread.
  4. My time dining is a mess on lots of ships not just Anthem. We always book traditional dining to avoid the long lines, etc. It is standard procedure for Royal to email you final invoice. Possibly problem with your email address on file or maybe it went to your spam/junk folder. Others on CC can provide but there is an email address you can request copy of final bill be resent. Hope you enjoyed your cruise other than MTD issues.
  5. Yes it is a legit site. Yes the info you posted about voom and JS's is correct.
  6. 75f is fine as long as there is low humidity and some type of a breeze. I usually have Ac set at 71f when I'm home from work. Eric keeps it at 74f during the day.
  7. I always enjoy the menus on longer cruises. If you go on the app and look at a current or near future caribbean sailing that is 11 nights that will probably give a very good idea of what to expect.
  8. The annual tier does not work as you are hoping. If an interior is not available or you don't want an interior you will pay to upgrade. Casino upgrade prices are much better than what you see on royals website. I.e. just a couple hours ago I booked my annual tier cruise for an interior on Odyssey next March and only pd $45 (plus tax & port fees) to upgrade to a OV with large balcony.
  9. Thank you everyone @h20skibum, @Luckynana for your info. This does sound like a nice easy port to fly too and a place we would definitely enjoy. I'm thinking since we need to move our Sept Bermuda cruise (work conflict with Bosses surprise UK cruise) then we could check out New Orleans and go to Bermuda next year.
  10. It's been hot muggy here since the 4th. Daily heat indexes ranging from 99 to 106f. I was able to get law mowed one night (haven't had to mow for 3 weeks) and some weeding. With having a 4 day weekend I was hoping to hang out at neighbors pool but we all decided way too hot to sit and relax by the pool and cannot spend all day in the pool without becoming a prune. So I booked a cruise. I was looking at doing one out of Tampa but Eric said just do Cape Liberty as he wants to check out Odyssey for last week of March (his BD week). Went thru casino desk and used my free annual tier sailing for an interior and only had to pay $325 with taxes, port fees and minor upgrade fee of $45 to a OV w/large balcony. Love getting a good casino rep. On the phone. Eric and I have casino offers for Brilliance sailing out of New Orleans for November/December. Does anyone have experience for this port? Is it easy access to get to the port? How's the airport?
  11. I'm not sure when you last cruised with Royal but it's been awhile since I've seen any dining specials on embarkment day. Since you will be on a 11 night cruise it is possible you will see some specials but I have found they offer them later on and usually restaurant specific. It will definitely depend on the number of reservations. Check out the 3 or 5 night packages now and if content with the price book it. Will your obc be refundable?
