  1. I have read that is 1.5 mile hike up the path with steep steps. Best for someone with good stamina and good knees. Does not appear that public entrance to climb the lighthouse itself is permitted. I'm sure October will be hot. It was very hot and humid end of November a few years back.
  2. He has ever right to be upset. I would be too! Hope your cruise is filled with lots of fun and good weather😊
  3. We love their buses too. It is cute to see the children in their school uniforms and how well behaved they are on the buses too
  4. the good news is that you found out now instead of the right before your cruise or once onboard the ship.
  5. the storm is projected as of today to hit PA/NJ area Wednesday or Thursday so a Saturday flight should not be impacted by Storm Debby.
  6. Good luck tomorrow with the Embassy call. Hopefully there is an online option to apply to avoid the 8 hr +/- drive to London or even better they tell you that you won't need a Visa if traveling for one day via cruise ship from the US.
  7. Here is the ferry schedule if you want to save or print for your bermuda cruise http://www.rccbermuda.bm/Documents/Ferry/Summer Ferry Schedule 2024.pdf
  8. Happy to hear she is home and hopefully feeling a little better. Never easy to see the little ones sick. Seeing a Pulmonologist is a great start and personally I wouldn't mind blowing bubbles and pinwheels all day. It will help strengthen her lungs. Our youngest, Chris, had severe asthma as a toddler/young boy and we spent many nights in the ER. The poor guy went through numerous tests and medications until one was found that worked best for him but then he dealt with constipation on a regular basis. Noone in either family has a history of asthma and we changed household cleaners, laundry detergents, etc. and none of that seemed to make a difference. It was difficult for him to standby and watch other children play, run around and partake in various sports. But he always kept a great attitude about it and could beat everyone in card, board and video games! He did really well whenever we were at the shore house. We found that swimming and bike riding really helped build up his lungs. Luckily enough he has pretty much outgrown it but still carries an inhaler with him especially during allergy season. I hope that Finnley feels better soon and everyone can get some much needed rest ❣️
  9. Grandeur was our first Royal Caribbean ship. It still had the new ship smell😁 Veendam (HAL) was our first couple of cruises out of NYC with my parents.
  10. Have you checked with Royal Caribbean or your TA if a Visa is needed if you are entering Honduras by a cruise? It is possible the visa requirement may only be required if you were traveling to Honduras by plane and have a land vacation planned.
  11. I have always found it odd - but not surprising with their wonky IT that my DH receives emails about excursions and sales and hardly receive any even though our settings are the same. That's okay as I don't have sailings booked before Black Friday when the "big sales" should happen for our future cruises.
  12. Storm Debby will make its way up to Pa/NJ by Wednesday or Thursday according to current projections so your flight out of Phl on Saturday should not be impacted by Debby.
