YES, definitely. elevators games, witnessing running in and out of the MDR at dinner time, little ones wondering around lost at the pool deck, etc. etc. etc. Don't get me wrong I love kids but it was overwhelming. There were many rude passengers/parents that just didn't care. Of course, there were some very nice ones too!

Definitely!! I have 4 or 5 banana pepper plants and they have been big producers all summer. Still going strong. I had a lot of cucumbers this year, they seemed to be never ending but have now stopped producing. Kinda glad I was cucumbered out😁

My stuff peppers...I parboil the peppers after cutting off stem and gutting them. I saute onions, brown beef and add my homemade tomato sauce and either white or brown rice. Then I stuff the peppers with this mixture and add a little sauce over top them put in convection oven for approx. 25 to 30 minutes. Then put mozzarella cheese on top let that melt. Then eat😀 They also freeze well.

I also slice up my bell peppers and put into food saver bags then freeze and use for various dishes in the winter like sausage, meatballs with peppers and onions or chop up the peppers and put with hash browns when I make Sunday breakfast. Also great for shakshuka. Great, now I'm hungry😃

Have you ever pickled your banana peppers? I have done that in the past and sometimes add a bit of hot peppers for a little kick. Then we use for cheesesteaks, hoagies, etc.

Happy to hear you booked with another hotel and won't start off your trip frustrated😀 Years ago we had issues with a booking made thru expedia travel site and the hotel not honoring the price of our booking and costing us something like $250 more for a weekend trip. After that mess we almost always book direct with hotels except for when I use credit card points and book thru them. Hilton does have a nice honors program.

I see you posted as I was typing. Definitely agree, if it's not resolved now chances of it being resolved at the front desk are slim to none. Extra $200 a night is ridiculous especially when there are other great options.

If you cancel the hilton will you be charged a cancellation fee? If not, then I would just cancel and book at one of the other suggestions on this thread. Why start off a wonderful vacation having to argue with front desk mgr at the hilton.

What would happen if your card had expired since the time of the booking? Or if you were a victim of identity theft and had to get a replacement / new card? These things happen all the time and is why they should still honor the booking at original price.

looks like we have another heckler, best to just ignore, IMO. They only have 99 posts on CC, obviously they don't get it.

This stinks! sounds like when booking.com accepted the reservation initially their system was set up to confirm it was a valid credit card number but the actual card was not ran until after you did direct confirmation with Hilton. Easy fix for Booking.com and Hilton, fingers and toes crossed they honor your original booking amount. By any chance are you a member of Hilton Honors? If yes they should be able to help.

There is free beach volleyball and some other sports. If you snorkel, you can bring your own or rent their gear. Otherwise, you can purchase Waterpark, hot air balloon ride or zip line or jet skis. What type of activities do you want for an island?
