  1. Oh no, that's Not good! I will have to make a run and see what my local liquor store has in stock as I am almost out of Kraken.
  2. Yes, it was nice to have had this experience for a b2b as all my others I had to get off the ship like you!
  3. @Arzeena I just hopped on while eating lunchπŸ˜ƒ Everything is going great! I am very happy with the people and so far I am just learning their system (computers, etc.) but I am pretty sure I made a good decision in coming here. Thank you for asking!!!

  6. This is exactly the same type of set up we have with our generator. I think ours is 7500 watts and found it was more than sufficient in running everything we have connected. The longest we have to had to run it is almost 2 to 3 WEEKS after Hurricane Sandy. Our neighborhood was disaster and it took forever for Peco toget us back up and running. Most of us were without cell phones due to towers being done, etc etc etc. Dish satellite TV saved us from boredom. It worked every day. while others sat around for weeks with no comcast xfinity or fios. There was a very limited amount of gas stations that were open with their generators running the pumps. Everyone was there filling up gas cans on a regular basis. We were thrilled that we got this generator delivered the day before Sandy hit. We have used numerous times and it is a life saver. We also connect (via long extension power cord) to my neighbors house so her fridge, lights and sump pumps in basement are working. Our generator would need to be refilled approx. every 12 hours. Right now I do not remember how many gallons it holds but we have 6 or 7 gas cans in the shed that we rotate and try to make sure we have at least a couple filled at all times (just in case). Highly recommend having some type of generator!
  7. Bonnie, Sorry to hear Jack has covid. It is nerve wracking waiting to see if you will also be positive. Hopefully you will be one of the lucky spouses that doesn't get it, like I was. I was with Eric 24/7 and went back and forth to his Moms house to care for her while both were sick, and I never got it. Tested neg. Multiples for that month. I think you are referring g to paxlovid? I do not personally know anyone that has had this treatment. Eric had the monoclonal antibody infusion and that worked wonders on him. I don't think they are using this on current variant. His mom had remedesivir and her covid lasted for weeks. Drink Lots of fluids! Hopefully everyone will feel better soon and have full recovery in time for your family to visit😍
  8. @Momof3gurlzThank you. The toughest part will be getting up at 5:30 everyday. Working from home most days really spoiled me.
  9. That's great to hear you are improving everyday, Bonnie. For the most part Eric isn't in much pain. Only when he does something he shouldn't do while the bone heals.
  10. I did my check in 2 weeks ago for a 8.28 sailing and mine shows vaccinated as validated and completed. For those that do not show validated before arrival at cruise terminal no worries just show your vax card/info and you will be fine. Even those that are validated still need to show your vax card/info.
  11. Yes, let your server or bartender know if want to use your drink voucher or charge to your sea pass.
  12. What happens if you try for 4 people. Make the 4th a child and have them be a no show ???
  13. He goes back to the ortho doc on 8.15 for xrays and doc will decide then. That will be around a month since he broke it.
  14. Thank you for asking. 😍 Eric is feeling better day by day. Last night when we arrived for my party and the hostess showed us to the steps to get to the room they booked. We both looked at each other wondering if he could do steps. He took it slow but at the end of the night going down was worse than going up. He had wished he had more to drink but he was driving.
  15. He personally does not reply but someone will respond, may take a couple of days. Don't expect an answer over the weekend. Give them all the details you can including your fcc number
  16. we have never gone to one these events intentionally. On Anthem they hold in the 270 theater and I happen to be working on my laptop in the library (2nd flr of 270) and listened in when captain was speaking.
  17. I don't understand your post. You say Now we have to pay for covid tests. that is due to the recent change in federal funding (US tax $) for testing. Would you rather your tax dollars go to free testing? with feds paying for it we were all paying for the people that tested weekly or sometimes several times a week for various reasons. Do you cruise to help them or cruise for a vacation?
  18. I keep checking to see if any interiors or anything other than suites comes available. Boy, the prices for this cruise have definitely gone way up. When we booked a couple months ago a JS was cheaper than what they are currently selling OVB's for. I really hope an interior opens up for your DD and your GK's. πŸ˜€
