Yes, I absolutely love Jewel and her Sister Serenade. Our favorites. Love this size, all the windows and the fact that chops and giovannis actually have large oceanview windows. Schnooners too! I personally would pick this sailing with the ABC islands over Harmony with the ac islands. We like the extended balconies on deck 7 located aft or forward. Here are photos I think from cabin 7058. You get regular size balcony with privacy dividers then get extended 3 or 4 feet.

Sorry for your first cruise it wasn't everything you had hoped. It wouldn't stop me from cruising. Sure we have had itinerary changes for different reasons. Just like anything in life you need to be flexible and realize it is not in your control and the cruise lines have to change course for medical emergencies and weather. Maybe Book a nice tropical cruise (not in hurricane season 😁) and see what you think after visiting some islands. Also, you mention you had some crappy weather that could very well be the reason the coast guard did not fly a chopper to pick up the injured person. I have only seen 2 helicopter evacuations in my years of cruising and is not an easy task to perform on a crystal clear day.

Yes bacon is cooked and I crumble it with the blue cheese to stuff in the burgers. The easiest way to stuff the burger is make 1 thin patty place the blue cheese and crumbled bacon in the center of the patty then place 2nd patty on top then pinch around the ends. If too puffy you can kinda flatten with your hands but not too much as you don't want the "stuffing" to ooze out of the burger while grilling Enjoy😃

Sounds yummy! I have made stuffed burgers with blue cheese and bacon then put a smoke gouda on top. You should try making some time. Now I want one😁

Usually between 11 and 12 unless we are having a ball in the casino and doing really well then we have stayed up until 3 am. Also, depends if it the next day is a port day or a sea day I usually get up between 6 and 7 am unless I am drinking till 3 am at the casino, then I have no idea when i roll out of bed on a sea day.

That's good to hear your temps have dropped into the 80's. I don't mind even low 90's but I hate the humidity. I know what you mean, I have had my blinds and curtains closed for more than a week. My cat Sparky hates it too, early mornings he loves to look out the window before I get up to open up the back door. Now I hear him fighting with the blinds and trying to climb behind them. He will be happy once I have them open again too!
