We have been in the same house for about 24 yrs. I had been doing really good with getting rid of unused items and had lived by the rule that if I hadn't worn it or used it in 1 to 2 years then I would donate it or post online for sale. Then in 2018/2019 my parents passed away and I had cleaned out their home and sold it. I bought home too many items that were family keepsakes including some favorite pieces of furniture that are in our basement family room. Then Eric's Mom passed away Nov 2022 and we cleaned out and sold her home last Fall and again we kept several boxes of family keepsakes and a couple pieces of furniture - such as nice white leather recliner that was hardly ever used. So even though we didn't move I felt like we did with the whole house clean out for both of those homes. Now we have way too much stuff again! I have been slowly going through closets, basement storage, holiday decorations, etc. and so far I have gathered a total of 13 large black trash bags and boxes of items that purple heart will pick up on Monday. Still have a lot more to go through but with Spring here and being outdoors again means the stuff in the basement will probably be there until next winter when it's too cold to be outside. Ugghhh! It's sad there is no real value to china these days. I now have 5 sets of china. My Nana's (2 different sets), her Mother's (my GG), my Mom's, Eric's Mom. That is my next project to clean them out and keep my 2 favorites that I use for holidays and special occassions. Candles is another thing that I have way too many of. No plans of moving, especially with all the stuff stored in the basement.

I Always call to book as we like to select our own cabin. We have had some great deals on upgrades. The pricing you see online is never the same as they use "casino rate". We have had some great upgrades. Our last cruise on Anthem in March (was a casino offer) and my offer was for an interior cabin; however, we got a OV balcony for no additional charge. I received a Certificate for my play while on the Anthem and used it for a sailing out of San Juan next January. My Certificate was for an OV Balcony and the cost to upgrade to a Junior Suite was only $11/pp. Royal's website showed it costing more than $2000 to upgrade to a JS. Never hurts to ask. Remember to frequently check the clubroyaleoffer website at least once a week for new offers. We receive new offers almost every Monday. The free cocktails, beer or wine and the 30% discount off internet booked onboard are always nice perks. We have been Prime for several years. Enjoy!!

Odyssey of the Seas vs CCL!?
Sunshine3601 replied to Crusin Karen's topic in Royal Caribbean International
YES to all questions. Wine, soda or water in your carryon is allowed. Sailing out of Cape Liberty is a breeze and March is a great time. We sail March just about every year out of NJ. You will love Odyssey. -
I just checked the site clubroyaleoffers.com and they have not yet posted. Should be done this week.

Ahh, so sorry to hear this. Is he staying hydrated? Eric has been instructed over the years to drink more fluids than normal due to some meds tend to dry him out, especially when doing physical labor...yardwork, long walks, etc. His pressure drop when he needs more fluids. We go through alot of Gatorade or power aide in our house.

Are the escape rooms different on each of the ships?

I almost always ate breakfast in WJ on my solo cruises. I would first get my coffee and bowl of fruit, set it down down at a table with my unused silverware then go get my omelet, etc. Never had a problem. If I left the table for more coffee or juice I would let table next to me know I would be right back.

I have done 2 solo 7 night cruises and enjoyed both of them. I will admit my first one I was sad my DH wasn't able to be there. I met some nice people during happy hour my first night and ended up meeting up with them almost every night. Diner in the MDR with a solo table first 2 nights was lonely but I got over that and enjoyed conversations with tables next to me. My next solo cruise I had booked as a solo was awesome. I met another solo passenger and we got along great and did some excursions together and dined in MDR almost every night together. You can make the cruise whatever you want. Have fun!!

What ship and itinerary? Drink pkg can run anywhere from $58 and up. Most of my future cruises are $70 to $75 right now. Beers avg $8 each Wine can be $10 and up per glass cocktails avg $13 or $14 each you are allowed to bring a bottle of wine onboard on embarkment day. Avg internet price is $20 a day for 1 device. If thinking of buying more than 1 connection usually cheaper for one person to buy 2 devices.

Disgusting! Good to hear the court system wasn't in his favor. IMO, I would definitely not help him book any flights or hotels anywhere. If he wants to fly and travel like a free bird - so be it. Time to turn the page and move on to a new happy place where you will meet new people and enjoy your beautiful new condo and the View!

So wrong in so many ways. Thank you for venting as it will help you feel better. Anger and holding it in is not healthy in so many ways. You are a strong independent woman that did everything for your parents. I am sure they dearly appreciated you. It is now your time to enjoy life and be happy! When do you start your new chapter in Florida?.

Another question about EV cars....What are people that live in a major city and have to park on the street or parking garages suppose to do? It is not like "they" will provide a charging station for everyone in major cities to charge overnight. Same question for people that live in condos or apartment complexes in the suburbs.
