Dressing up on formal nights a thing of the past?
Sunshine3601 replied to 7x5090g's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We love to dress up. Hubby may not bring his tux on every cruise (3 to 5 times a year) but as others have said European / Med cruises tend to dress up more than Caribbean cruises. If you enjoy wearing your tux then go for it and have fun! -
After you disembark from the ship look for the tram station. The tram is excellent to ride throughout the island and has many drop off/pick up locations.

After looking at the 10 day forecast for Cape Coral and Gasparilla Island and speaking with my Boss, we have decided to postpone our trip. Originally scheduled to fly to Ft Meyers airport Thursday morning but with temps to be in the 60's with rain and high winds forecasted for most of the weekend we decided to postpone our trip for a couple of weeks. It saddens me to think we cancelled our Anthem sailing for Jan 18th 11 nighter because of Yeshiva week and now postponing this trip. I was so hoping to be soaking up some warm sun somewhere this January. For now, we have our fireplace and cats to snuggle up with. I hope everyone remains safe during this brutal cold weather and has no issues with power outages.

Our family is a mix of Android and iPhone we use the whatsapp while onboard. Works great for us -
On Quantum, Vintages is a great location to hang out with nice selection of wines. On Odyssey, same location as Vintages, Giovannis wine bar would be another great option. Sorry but I have never sailed out Australia to know their gratuity rules. Your plan is a good one😊

Coffee Vouchers/Early Morning Coffee

Some ships have a specialty coffee area in the Windjammer. Does Symphony? -
Schools in my area of PA are closed the week of March 24th. This sailing had limited cabins available last year when we were looking at dates in March. We ended up booking March 3rd. Royal up may have some options for you.

Might be able to buy a bottle at the schooner bar, the pub. Definitely can purchase at any specialty restaurant or vintages bar. What ship are you sailing on?

What happens when his caregiver takes her 2 or 3 month break between contracts. Guess he will have to get used to lots of people caring for him. He's a cutie😊

Same for me. My Dad and Brother primarily watched or played baseball and footballl while I played softball. Hockey was not a sport watched in my house nor do I recall any local ice rinks until I got older. Now Eric's Brothers got into hockey as teenagers once we had an ice rink about 15 or 20 minutes away from home. Once I married into the family I was then introduced to hockey and went to several games but that has faded and he hardly ever watches Flyers game after his Brother died on a military mission overseas.

Some ships they fit, some they do not fit. I wish they would fit in all of them. The tiniest ones were the brand new ones they installed in September on our repo cruise on Serenade for the WC. Our room steward said someone sure goofed when ordering them. Hopefully they replaced them.

Yes, you can ask for desert to go from MDR. They will put on a plate with large plastic lid. Their large plates do not usually fit into the room cooler. Small plates usually fit. I've never seen it done but sure you could bring your own container.
