I suspect they will reopen excursions to Blue Lagoon by May. If not, maybe check out the site resort for a day. Or just talk a 15 min walk or taxi ride to Junkanoo Beach where you can rent lounges with or without umbrellas. Lots of food and drink options available. Unfortunately, no good snorkeling in these areas. Another good option with great snorkeling is https://tourcliftonheritage.com/ We went here with our Son and his Wife and loved this area. If you purchase their pkg it included transportation, lunch and snorkeling gear.

Happy New Year to Everyone! May the new year bring you and your families Peace, Joy and Happiness. Doubt we will make it till midnight. We are having Kraken rum punches. We have been hearing fireworks for the last 1/2 hr. Not sure if a local person or a township but they are going pretty strong. Cheers to All🍾

Oh no, sorry to hear about the drive to Naples from NJ not going well. I was wondering when you would be back on. I figured you were getting settled and visiting with neighbors you haven't seen since last Spring. We had a very nice Christmas. Hope you did too! It is very sad for her Mother. The loss of two of her three children in the last 15 months has hit her hard. Linda says she is very sad/depressed and hardly eating. Which is not good either. Here's hoping 2024 is better for Everyone! Happy New Year Cheers 🍾

If you buy Voom pre-cruise, No credit for the free D day. If you buy onboard then you would receive a credit the daily onboard rate. Most ships the onboard rate is $24 to $27 a day. What we do is not get internet on day 1 as we are usually docked until 4 or 5 pm and can use our phones until we are out to sea. Then we use our free day(s) for day 2 and day 3. Then depending on our itinerary, we either buy the onboard pkg for day 4 thru day 7. Plus we are casino prime members and get 30% off the onboard rate so that helps too. For us this usually works out to be cheaper than buying pre-cruise.

Bit overcast and chilly here today. Will be so nice to have a 3 day weekend. Last weekend flew by with Christmas and all the prepping. I guss we have our Son Chris and his Wife Donna hooked on cruising. Last weekend they were showing us some cruises they really want to try and wanted our opinions. Possibly looking to book a Norway and Med cruise for 2025 with them. My SIL Linda is doing really well after her knee replacement (surgery was on the 13th). My Brother has a problem with her sitting still he said she gets up and is trying to do more than she should then complains at night. Very sad to hear that her Sister passed away on Thursday at the age of 63.. She was in the hospital last weekend for rectal bleeding and released on Christmas Eve with a list of tests to get scheduled. She was found dead on her toilet after the visiting nurse called her emergency number because no one answered the phone or door. Horrible way to go! May she Rest in Peace. Her poor Mother lost her Son (Linda's Brother) last year and her Sister earlier this year. Linda said she was in shock / disbelief when she went to give her the news in person.

Post great deals that you just booked...

I'm pretty sure everyone is posting their cruise fares with port fees and taxes. We all know their standard gratuity rate so IMO not really any need to show for comparison purposes of fares/good deals. I typically do not pay tips until onboard.
