I do not know of any ice cream place on Harmony. Maybe WJ will have scooped ice cream but they usually close by 9 pm. Unless is somewhere on the boardwalk to get it but I don't think so. Hopefully someone else will chime in with better news for you.

A couple years ago we did not have a cooler in an OV cabin but were able to request one. They placed it in the closet. If you need one, ask when you board and you may be able to get one. If you need a medical refrigerator for medicine you can email the special needs dept or fill out their online form.

Worked perfect. Our dining time was 5:30 on nights we ate in the MDR. When we would leave our cabin we would see normally see our room steward nearby and he knew we were gone and he could enter to clean. On nights that we ate at a specialty restaurant with a later reservation time we would simply leave by 5:15/5:30 and go have a drink or two before dinner so that we would not mess up the schedule room steward set for himself.

Eric says Thank you Everyone for sending their condolences. He phoned Bill's Son before Dinner and learned that Bill had been given a last minute hail mary opportunity to receive a kidney but had refused it as Doctor's weren't sure he would survive the surgery since his body / heart had become so weak. He passed it up saying "give it to someone younger " He was only 63 yrs old. We all broke into tears hearing that. Bill's Girlfriend is a nurse at the hospital where he died and everyone made sure he passed peacefully. His Son will call the firehouse that he retired from tomorrow and let them know that if they want to be part of the service that would be great but Bill did not want a large funeral with all the "bells and whistles". His Son is a volunteer Fireman at the same firehouse. Gloomy night here in our house (weather and mood).

Eric received a call today that a good friend since high school days passed away from kidney failure. He was born with one kidney and didn't know this until he became very sick several years ago. He has been doing dialysis for 6 or 7 years while waiting for a kidney transplant. We last him this winter and he was not well then but remained hopeful. Dialysis for that many years definitely took a toll on his body. He was so thin and pale when we last saw him. Very sad as he once was a very fit person, was a Fireman for over 25 yrs as well as fitness fanatic that was in excellent shape. May Bill Rest in Peace🙏

Sounds like a lot of fun to watch as well as relaxing and peaceful. Now if only we didn't have some such horrible humidity and could you spend more time outside. . Our neighbor has a Koi pond and in the past he used to have a guy come once a year to clean the pond. He used to donate the "extras" to this guy as he would give them some of his new customers that were getting new ponds installed. They definitely have some frogs that hang around as I occasionally have one or two visit our yard and hear them but I immediately steer them back towards the neighbors house so our cats don't play or eat them.

In a recent conversation with one of our clients at work he mentioned to me how his parents use to send him and his Brother every summer to spend a month with Mick Jagger and his children at his UK property and how they hated to go there every summer. I felt really bad for him.😜🤣

My DH is immuno compromised as an organ transplant recipient. We were told by an infectious disease Dr during a class on how to avoid germs/bacteria to never use a bath towel or wash rag more than once, never share a hand towel and he should never use a hand towel more than 3 to 5 hand washings. So we simply toss our used towels on the floor near toilet, not over floor drain and have them removed on our once a day cleaning (evening). Easy peasy.

In PA consumers can purchase Class C fireworks which includes bottles rockets, Roman candles, firecrackers, aerials and mortars (up to a certain size). Pa law states they cannot be launched between 10 pm to 10 am on any day except July 2, 3 and 4th and Dec 31st they can be used up until 1 am. Unfortunately, there are far too many people who don't follow the law on how and where they can be launched.
