  1. Got my letter from the Symphony suite concierges yesterday. Still no CK menu on the app. Our upcoming cruise is a different length than the current one so not sure that helps with the menu.
  2. @leisuretraveler223 When is your cruise? We leave on Symphony in a loft suite this coming weekend (Feb 10). I can report back here on CK dining, specialties and Windjammer, but will probably not use the MDR at all. Any specific questions?
  3. It is one week before our sailing on Symphony. Still no CK menu on the RC app. Does anybody have a recent one they could post? Trying to decide dates to go to Specialty Restaurants vs dine in CK. Also we have not been contacted by the Symphony suite concierge (yet?). When does this happen? We are in a CL suite. Thanks!
  4. Hi Hoya. It depends on who you ask here about the IV vs. a real balcony. There are literally thousands of posts on this topic. Some cruisers are very negative because they greatly enjoy more of a traditional balcony. Others like the IV for a number of reasons. If you love a real balcony then you might not like the IV. Maybe think of the IV as an extension of your cabin with an enclosed sun porch that has a large window that opens. You can do a search here on these boards on this topic.
  5. Yes understand your point. But it is just an extra $7 total for two people on a seven day cruise.
  6. Lots of interesting drug discussion here, but honestly the OP's question was about a few gummies to relax. Nevertheless, why take a chance on this? Lot's of other legal ways to relax.
  7. We will be on this cruise during the Super Bowl. So it would be nice to watch at Playmakers but they will charge for tables? How much?
  8. Yes on Equinox (S-Class) when we cruised in a CS in 2023.
  9. We are heading out on Symphony in two weeks. It will be 8 nights (S. Caribbean). We are in a CL suite so dining in CK. But we also want to try a few specialty restaurants for lunch and dinner. We have one booked so far (Wonderland). Where should we go for lunch? Dinner? What is not worth the price? Or are they all very good? I know food is subjective. How does CK compare to specialties? We have done a lot of Celebrity and dining in Luminae- which is usually as good or better than the Celebrity specialty restaurants. Same for CK? We last dined there in 2019 on Harmony. Thank You!
  10. We are also from SE PA so good that you enjoy cruising too. Are all of these cruises on RCCL or various different cruise lines?
  11. I wish I had an answer. We are in a 2-BR GS on Independence in 2025. It is really odd that WiFi is not included. I understand no CK on the ship.
  12. Thanks. I was referring to the upcharge in the menu. So I guess you can get a second lobster tail for $16.99?
  13. Just make sure you book a GS on a newer class ship that has CK and a SL. The older ships do not and you will eat in the MDR or you will pay for specialty dining and WiFi too.
  14. At least the upcharge lobster tail is real Maine Lobster, not the Caribbean "lobster" served on Lobster Night which is in the crawfish family.
  15. WJ for dinner on occasion? Well why not? Almost all of us do that.
  16. Agree with two bathrooms in some configuration. When our kids were younger we always did a Junior Suite (more spacious) and an interior cabin across the hall. If all of you hang out together on the balcony or in your cabin, a junior suite is a nice choice. Or two adjacent balconies - on some ships you can remove the balcony partitions and have one large connecting balcony with access to both cabins.
  17. Are you in a suite by any chance? If so, you can check in any time.
  18. Ken we are doing 12 nights Spain, Portugal, Canary Islands next year. Great itinerary. We got an aft Grand Suite on RCCL. Very good price compared to an equivalent CS on Celebrity.
  19. Mentioned this previously for those like us that have cruised in Celebrity suites for years. We have a different plan at least for the time being. Booked mid-level suites on RCCL next two cruises. Some here will gasp! But we like it. We are D+ and get drinks and other benefits, and can dine in Coastal Kitchen and use the Suite Lounge. Kind of like Luminae and the Retreat. But less expensive. No butler but who cares.
  20. Have you been back to St. Petersburg? We went a few years ago before the war when it was open to us on cruises. We thought it was beautiful and loved the historical buildings and churches and of course The Hermitage. Good luck with your Bills!
