  3. We have a lot of other nice puffin photos , would you care to see them or would you care to move on ? We did have to move on and stopped at Bogarfjordur Church . Placed on the outskirts of the village of Borgarfjörður Eystri, close to the famed Álfaborg - The City of Elves, stands the church Bakkagerðiskirkja, consecrated in 1901. The church boasts of a beautiful altarpiece, painted in 1914 by the famous local artist Jóhannes S. Kjarval who was brought up in Borgarfjörður Eystri. The altarpiece depicts Christ giving the Sermon on the Mount, standing on top of Álfaborg, with the Dyrfjöll Mountains as a backdrop. This piece is one of Kjarval´s most famous works, attracting tourists visiting Borgarfjörður Eystri.

But our last cruise on Princess came for our 44th Anniversary when we saw a room , itinerary and a price that we liked just before the sail date . It was from our home port with no travel expenses so we could afford an upgrade . It was on a newer ship that we have not been on , the Enchanted Princess . So we hopped on the ship and named the thread Some Enchanted Evening . So , if you would like a free trip to the Southern Caribbean , you can read about it here :
