    Exactly what I am doing for my 2 cruises where only paid a deposit. Totally lost interest.

    Rubbish! LOL Usually half a bottle or more left. We sometimes keep wine for days at home and drink slowly. We don't go to the bar after dinner, usually before, so doesn't work. Last time we were on Freedom dining, it seemed to work, but obviously they have changed it.

    Just heard elsewhere that it's the same on Aurora. How awful. Someone remind me if there are fridges in inside cabins?

    Cruising has lost its specialness for us. When Adonia and Oriana left the fleet, our only alternative was Aurora or Arcadia to swap to. That was OK at the time, but I would have my money back now.

    That is a pain. So after having a nice drink in the bar, you then have to return to your cabin to get your wine. Awful. Anyone know if that's the same on Aurora?

    I was just thinking that. It's always the same. We booked on board for both Oriana and Adonia cruises and then the ship was sold. I doubt the staff would know.

    Well I suppose until they actually sell the ship, they have to sell cruises.

    Interestingly she is due back into Southampton on June 1st according to Port Schedule. But it does say TBA

    That's what they always do, sell cruises up to 2 years in the future and then cancel at the drop of a hat. Adonia and Oriana to name 2. I was booked on both with another cruise the following year. All cancelled.

    It never means anything. They were still selling cruises on both Adonia and Oriana when they were sold. Happened to us twice.

    Just seen the same on FB on the Arcadia page from someone who delivers stuff to P&O and knows the staff. Again, I know only a rumour, but odd to see it again.

    On the Arcadia Cancellations thread, someone has heard that she is already sold. to be confirmed of course, but not surprised.

    I thought it might be her or Aurora. Frankly I hoped it would be Aurora, so we could get our deposits back and get on with othr holidays.

    That is just awful. Also, it says that the travel insurance would pay, but I don't think it would for the passengers who subsequently tested negative.

    I would doubt it. You are only losing one port and because of war, so hardly a huge change, although St P is probably the main reason some people go.

    Yes, Trieste and Dubrovnik are particularly lovely ports. Rovinj would have been interesting too. Zadar didn't enthral me.

    I would call that a pretty significant change. A lot of people would have chosen those ports particularly.

    All the markets have had a tremendous wipeout in the last 2 weeks

    Yes but it should be available if they telephone. You can't change 3 ports - that's a huge change and those 3 are probably the main reason to book the cruise. 3 super ports just removed is not on.

    Joy! No photographers - they drive me nuts! If we want photos, we take our own.
