Turkey had extremely cheap and good wine at duty free even. We gave wine to everyone.

So excited it’s finally time for this sailing. I know you have been planning hard. Hope it all pays off. I’m following along. Have a fantastic time.

I will say that it does reduce, but not significantly. I’ve sailed close to full capacity and I’ve also sailed with only 800 sailors. Some classes might not be offered and they might only have one showing of a few shows, but nothing drastic. I will tell you, I’ve watch that sailing and I’m shocked by the lack of reservations on it. For the price… it’s fantastic. If I wasn’t on her just a few sailings before, I’d be going.

On a call today, “they” said they aren’t interested in last minute deals. They don’t want to diminish the value.

We did NOT show up to the Circus one early, and it made a huge difference. Our seats were under the second floor and we couldn’t see half of what was going on. It irked DH so much, we left halfway through. So definitely plan ahead.

I sailed with my dad and his GF in January. Tons of fun and she won drag queen bingo. And we are talking, they don’t drink and are in a pew every Wednesday and twice on Sundays. 🤷🏼‍♀️

That was an 11am flight, I believe. In there somewhere. Had plenty of time… we self-debarked and have pre-check. I don’t normally advise flights before noon, but that was the only way to get back to OKC in a timely manner. Hope you have a fantastic cruise.

Aris doesn’t have a bar assignment this sailing. Still going over procedures. Says he will most likely be at atrium bar for the sailing back.

I wanted to especially once Aris got scheduled on her but I can’t leave my kids that long. Sigh

I’m not lol being from Oklahoma, we default usually to the cowboys, but when I learned about football, I read “Bootlegger’s Boy” and watched film and really bought into the whole defense wins championships mentality. So obviously I loved Monte Kiffin. Also loved they drafted Lee Roy Selmon, albeit before my time, so I decided in 1996 to be a TAMPA Bay fan. I knew Monte from his Nebraska, Big 8 days.

I currently have only 1 Carnival cruise on the books, January 2024 with the Tribe. Arias is finally headed back to the USA to join the Freedom and as much as I miss him, it’s hard for me, right now, to look to book with him. Sigh

I feel like the majority of this cruise was just rude, entitled folks… more than normal. I’m hoping Carnival can fix the problem. I’m thinking, honestly, it will have to be a pricing fix, but Carnival doesn’t pay me to analyze the demo.
