  1. Lol talk about a give away! Still there were a few I didn’t get.
  2. LOL Right! I used to have at least a dozen phone numbers memorized, now I can only rattle off 3 and once I cut the landline it will be down to two 😁
  3. Adding this to my Following list! Hope you have a great cruise! Definitely better than the last one 😉
  4. I've found that by adding a $1or $2 per drink tip, I get better service (YMMV) so I always bring some extra $1s for tipping the bar server/bartender.
  5. I sent them an email and they responded that the premium carts are faster, have a better suspension but cost $175/day vs the $100/day for the regular carts
  6. Thanks for sharing your trip with us (live too)! I hope you're able to get that tooth fixed quickly. We will be sailing on Celebration in May and are flying out of MIA at 12:00 on a Sunday disembarkation. From your experience, do you think that flight time is ok if we do self assist?
  7. First time cruising from Miami. Can I assume that a 12:08 flight from MIA after our Celebration cruise is OK? We'd be disembarking/flying out on a Sunday in case that makes a big difference. Thanks
  8. Curious to find out what you ended up doing? Looking at options for Bonaire in May
  9. What's the difference between the Golf Carts and the Premium Carts? It appears that the Golf Carts are sold out on our cruise date, was thinking of just renting the Premium Cart but didn't really see anythingon the site that describes what the difference is
  10. I just realized that in Aruba (and Bonaire also) our ship is in port until 10:00PM. So while we were planning on hitting Eagle Beach during the day I see we have a bit of extra time. Any suggestions on what else to do in addition to the beach?
  11. Is that still at Eagle Beach?
  12. I'm interested in this too as we haven't booked a pre-cruise hotel for our May Celebration cruise yet.
  13. Following Along. I hope you have a great cruise, can't wait to read about it!
  14. Stupid question... We usually pay the gratuities in advance, when paying for our cruise fare but haven't done so yet for our next cruise (which we just booked for March). Since we have a pretty big OBC, if we just leave the gratuities unpaid, will they just charge them to the cabin and apply the OBC against that charge?
  15. Following! Looking forward to reading all about this cruise! 😀
  16. Enjoying your review even if I did come by it a bit late. Going to be on Celebration later this year. Can you explain what's the deal with catching an elevator from deck 5?
  17. We are considering at changing our cabin on the Celebration and are looking at a Cloud 9 Spa Balcony on deck 17. Looking at the deck plans, it seems there is no direct access to the outside lounge area on deck 17. It appears that we'd have to go down to 16 or up to Serenity area on deck 18 in order to go outside, even though there is a considerable amount of lounge area on deck 17 overlooking the Lido deck it doesn't appear to be directly accessible from the deck 17 cabins. Am I seeing that correctly? Has anyone had any experience with these cabins, and if so, what was your opinion of this location? Thanks!
  18. I'd choose Jubilee, because it's a brand new ship (it starts sailing from Galveston next month) with all the latest Carnival has to offer. You might want to review the deck plans and various venues available on each ship from Carnival's website.
  19. Wow. We cruised out of Galveston twice in the past month. We saw the dog, but really didn't notice anyone being inspected/detained. I wonder what criteria they are using?
  20. Yes, you get the W2-G, and they do not automatically take out Federal Tax. I have read that if you don't provide your SS they will take taxes out, but have no actual experience with that part.
  21. Guy's on the Breeze this week had the same menu they've had. I normally just get a Straight Up and add some salsa & pico from the Blue Iguana
  22. I don't normally do hot tubs either but my knee has been acting up and had thought that soaking in a hot tub for a while would help with the achiness. Anyway, when I checked the water it was very cool, I wouldn't say cold, but definitely not warm or hot. Going on another cruise this weekend, will report back what I find
