  1. Following for port excursion ideas. We have the same ports on Celebration next year.
  2. Let us know what happens, but I assume that if they don't actually have the Coke products to sell you, they will not be able to honor your order
  3. As I mentioned above, I ended up just booking the 1 reservation for 6, charged to my account. The other two parties will pay me back. The only issue is that the other parties would prefer to use up some of their OBC to pay for the dinner since they have like $500 OBC each cabin.
  4. This is what I ended up doing. Unfortunately it charged the whole price for 6 people to my cabin. I guess the other two couples will just pay me for their portion. I know they wanted to use their OBC but I'm not sure if they can transfer part of their OBC to our cabin? If not they'll need to pay me cash.
  5. OK I was able to find some Coke products listed as available to buy for your cabin $10 for 6 cans, but the list of "beverages offered on board" doesn't include any Coke products. Maybe you can buy some Coke for your cabin, but only Pepsi products at restaurants/bars?
  6. Wow, I would love to be able to get a Diet Coke! I need to check for upcoming cruises. Where can you see that information on the Carnival site?
  7. Interesting. Which Coke products did you see?
  8. Yeah, thought of that but we want a table for 6, would that still work with 3 separate reservations for 2?
  9. With two teenagers you might not have enough sleeping space in a regular balcony room
  10. Oh well, looks like the schedule doesn't even list a CD for our cruise. We're on the Breeze in November. Alex Sielger is listed as On 8/24/23 and Off 11/2/23 but then nobody is listed as On again until Lawrence West comes back on 1/11/24.
  11. We'll be sailing with two other couples and want to make a specialty dining reservation prior to our cruise. What's the best way for me to make the reservation for the six of us? When I try using the Carnival website, it charges everybody to my account. Is there a way to be able to charge each cabin for two people each?
  12. You may also want 2 devices in case you separate and want to text/message each other. The Hub app has a text feature but it's not very convenient, better to use WhatsApp or iMessage but you'd need two wifi packages for that.
  13. Thanks for the link, I was searching Carnival's website and couldn't find anything.
  14. When we sailed from Galveston in November 2022, we (Platinum) arrived slightly later than our assigned time (I believe it was 15 minutes late) because we were with another party that had a slightly later arrival time, and we were made to wait in the "early/late arrivals" line, while they went in the Current Arrival Time line. The extra wait wasn't long and didn't make a huge difference, but did split up our party.
  15. I really like the idea of posting the Dress, Show & Party information ahead of time. Carnival should do this! It sure beats trying to fond old Fun Times on line to try to figure what was happening and when.
  16. Stupid question. Just curious, you mentioned the lady's credit/debit card not working for Emeril's, are you not able to charge those venues to your cabin? Anyway, loved your description of the braiding and the massages at St. Martin 🙂 Also love the pics of that beautiful water. We've been there once and are hoping to return on another cruise sometime.
  17. I order the same exact thing as you did at the steakhouse 🙂 Now I'm hungry 😉
  18. Loving your report so far 🙂 We haven't sailed on any of the Excel Class ships yet, but are booked for the Celebration next May. I've been looking at the deck plans and it seems to have very different layout from the other class of ships. Was it hard to find and remember where everything is at?
  19. Hello Willdra, Just caught up on your trip report. Looks like a great time so far. I'm looking forward to reading about the rest of your cruise. 😊
  20. Yeah we've left bags with luggage tags in the cabin before as well without issue. It seems that the problem for us this time stems from the fact that we didn't actually leave a bag, we kept our carryon bags with us. We dropped off drinks and a jacket, which didn't have tags on them. So I guess the lesson we learned is to be sure to tag anything that you drop off in the cabin so it's not mistaken for something left behind 🙂
  21. Sailing from Galveston. Not on an Elite Cruise, but we do have the DOU Everywhere on Ship offer. Many people stated that they could get free drinks once the casino opened on the first day, so hoping that will be the case for us as well. Do we need a casino host or go to the casino bar first to activate the offer on the first day?
  22. Just a quick cautionary note to anyone taking advantage of this. On our last cruise in March, we boarded the ship and as outlined above, went to the cabin which wasn't ready yet, but we dropped off my jacket (hung it up) and put the Soda and Monster Energy we brought onboard in the fridge so we wouldn't have to carry it to lunch. We then proceeded to eat and came back to the cabin somewhere around 1:30 (since the cabins should be ready by then). Well, when we got back to the cabin, it turns out our drinks and my jacket were gone. We couldn't find or get a hold of the cabin steward, so I went down and waited in the short, but slow moving (Due to the people in front of me trying to change cabins 😞 ) Plat/Diamond line at customer service to let them know about my missing items which took about 30 minutes. When I got back to the cabin again, they had called housekeeping and got a hold of our cabin steward, who brought back "most" of my drinks (1 of the Monsters was missing), but he didn't have my jacket. So, at the cabin steward's suggestion, I went back down to customer service to have them check the Lost & Found but it wasn't there. They said that I should check back later to see if it was there after all of the recently collected items had been turned in. I was eventually able to get my jacket back, but only after 3 trips to the customer service desk and about an hour's worth (all together) of waiting in line. For our next cruise, my plan is to try to find the cabin steward when we drop off our items so that they know these weren't left over from the previous cruise. Maybe also add a luggage tag to anything we put in the cabin. Any other ideas?
