  1. So im booking Allure OTS right now and we are going to do the CP balcony, with advice from what ive seen people say to go for the **229 or **629 (correct that if im wrong please) because of the bigger balcony, still 3 of these are available, just looking for a recommendation if there is a difference between them or anything.
#14229, #11229, #10629 are still available as of now.
    Thanks

  2. I guess i must be in the minority but i prefer these over the Ocean view. I did the BW last year and really the only perk we took advantage of was the free JR lunch. The perks were not the reason i booked that room but it was definitely appreciated, booking allure for next year and didn't see the perks listed that's why i came here looking if they went away. hopefully they will implement the new way to enhance my CP balcony by next year 😉

Haha yes - I'm an ex-pat Scot and have lived in Portugal for 35 years now. DH Fernando is Portuguese.

He plays about 20 dollars a night max on the slots; I just spectate. Usually he manages to just about break even but on this trip I think the casino kept most of it!

    haha very cool!
yeah i tend to give most of what i play with to the house as well but can sometimes stretch far enough to say i got some entertainment value lol
25 days until i jump on adventure so i have really loved following along with you!

I can't begin to imagine how I would have felt it that had happened to us. Or that somebody could have a bag in their stateroom that was not theirs and not realise... I wonder if they ever managed to find out what happened to it.

My aunt took a cruise with friends once, 3 friends on one room. went they got in there room threw all the luggage under the bed and unpacked later, well the 3 ladies not knowing exactly what the others brought all assumed this extra bag was one of the others, not until then end they realized it was actually none of theirs 😞 unfortunate for that person, it was an honest mistake in that case and obviously returned it as soon as the realized just rough that happened to be the last night

    Hey All,

I am planning a bar crawl on Liberty in February and had a few venue operating hours/etc questions. Here is the plan in it's current draft phase (it's essentially a top to bottom crawl):

2:30pm – Olive or Twist (Deck 14 Midship)

                            2:55pm – Sky Bar (Deck 12 Midship)

                            3:20pm – Solarium Bar (Deck 11 Forward)

                            3:40pm – Pool Bar (Deck 11 Midship)

                            3:55pm – Squeeze (Deck 11 Midship)

                            4:10pm – Plaza Bar (Deck 11 Aft)

                            4:35pm – R Bar (Deck 5 Midship)

                            4:55pm – Vintages (Deck 5 Midship)

                            5:15pm – Hoof & Claw Pub (Deck 5 Midship)

                            5:35pm – Schooner Bar (Deck 4 Midship)

                            6:00pm – Casino Bar (Deck 4 Midship)

                            6:15pm – Boleros (Deck 4 Midship)

6:40pm – On Air Club (Deck 3 Midship)

Anyone see any operating hour conflicts for a typical sea day? Also does ON AIR have a bar and is it open ONLY if there's karaoke happening in there? Should we include Connoisseur Club? Star Lounge? Any other fun thoughts? 😄

    Cheers!!!

although i cant answer your question (sorry) looks like fun and might have to plan somthing similar on my jan sailing on adventure 😄

We enjoyed Dolphinaris in Cozumel if that's on your itinerary. We arranged the excursion through the cruise line (Carnival) and the excursion included unlimited drinks and a buffet. A brief review is in my review of CCL Glory in my signature. You can find Dolphinaris on line if MSC doesn't offer the excursion.

we did this in cozumel last year aswell, highly recommend it! it was a blast and you do actually get to swim with them like they push you around and such, very good experience 🙂
i will say don't book it just for the buffet though, less than impressive but good thing cruise ships usually have something to eat when you get back on 😉

also another note, no personal cameras they take tons of pictures and they want to sell you them all at the end..they really do a good job with the pictures but they are not cheap. we did buy two though as a memento, hope you enjoy !!

We just had a "Nightmare" situation with our neighbors in a connecting room last month on Harmony. Still trying to remedy it with RCI. FYI-They said that they can spend 10 minutes installing a "Tape-Seal"? If you are in a connecting room without friends/family. They said that this is very common. And, eliminates almost all noise through the connecting door.

just found out i have a connecting room aswell, working on getting this changed but if no luck i will defiantly push for this on day one thank you

If you take a walk on the Hollywood Beach broadwalk there are several different restaurants there that range from "beach shack dive feel" to "hotel front fancy" (Margaritaville)

We had food at Hollywood Brewing Company and Landshark Bar & Grill.

Both would be classified as "Ok", although we went to Hollywood Brewing more for the local "craft beer" tasting.

now you are talking my langue ! we will defiantly be checking out the hollywood brewing co. thanks for the tip !:D

With the So.Pacific coming up next year and the Caribbean in 2021, and warmer summers here and in Utah, I am getting and liking Dry-Tek capris and long-sleeved SPF/UPF wicking tops. Some of the shirts are saying "keep you cooler than no shirt at all" (well the men's say that!).

im a big fan of performance long sleeves (spf tops) and if i could suggest checking out SA fishing co im a huge fan of everything they offer but in relation to your comment theses are hands down my favorite long sleeve tops that are light weight and wicking for warmer weather.. also to be noted in their sale section they have where you can get for like $12 a mystery one, and i have yet to receive one that didn't become my new favorite, defiantly worth checking out if your in the market for a new one, i can get you a pic of one of mine if you'd like aswell 🙂

to answer the OP, keeping in mind i am not amungst most normal guys lol; on a typical sea day, ill start in board shorts and a Tee or tank, that will cover breakfast, day by the pool (typically just lay out not swim) then change to like golf shorts and the same tee for afternoon activities, dinner attire will always be pants and a short sleeve button up (somthing modern or fun, not your grandpas old bowling shirt) unless its a formal night then thats a whole different story 😄 but that dinner outfit will also be my evening show/event outfit unless its super hot might jump back into the golf shorts

There must be some algorithm of dollar per ton or dollar per sq/cubic foot factoring in shopping, specialty restaurants, cabins, etc, and non-revenue areas.

    It'd be interesting to see.

to this point is why i don't think they will ever abandon the mega ship.. the more they can pack onto it the more they can charge people to do! this even includes the free things, because they can up charge almost anything, yes person x can go enjoy the flow rider, its free and included ! while there is plenty of person Y that will pay the money and reserve it for an hour for his/hers self or family. some one somewhere is willing and able to pay for anything. royal wants to find them all lol

agreed i would love to be part of the team that comes up with it all, very interesting stuff!

On arrival in Hollywood we had some lunch at an instantly forgettable pizza place on the Broadwalk and then enjoyed wandering up and down along the beach, before catching the 5 pm water taxi back. It was actually late as it had to stop for the Celebrity Silhouette in the turning basin.

have you, or anyone for that matter, been to a awesome restaurant in Hollywood Fl? We are all staying the day before in Hollywood and would love a good food/drink spot 😄
