  1. My only recommendation is to treat your Butler with respect and he will try to make most if not all your requests happen. I sometime read post of those (usually in the lowest level suites) act entitled and by their list of DEMANDS can be very demeaning. While they list items like packing and unpacking luggage and running a bath, I would never request a butler to do these. Recently all the Butlers went through training by the British Butler Institute and have a lapel pin to denote their extended training. Part of this training included how to pack and unpack as well as how to make their guest feel comfortable and not be obtrusive. We usually have our butler refresh our Ice 2X a day (don't need to ask as that is the norm). Occasional breakfasts in our room on early Port Days and Laundry. They usually also ask us what we want stocked in our Refrigerator (but we usually travel in Upper Suites and that is part of the package). They also assist with reserved seating for you on Chic nights in the theater. The Butlers also rotate at serving Tea in Retreat and will deliver to your room upon request. While they always try to drop off goodies we request him not to as there is just too much food. I also use the Butler to handle any maintenance issues in our room
  2. Recently I've found that it is at the discretion of the F&B Manager. In the past they always started with day 1 and went sequentially and then repeated. Recently on Apex they changed to a random order that didn't even match up to what you would expect on the 1st and 2nd Chic nights. They of course had Lobster on the Final Chic Night. The menus were not published on the App until the day before the cruise.
  3. This is the standard plugs on the M-Class. There may be more depending on type of room. You may find this thread helpful
  4. I find the most direct route is to fill out the Attention to Detail form (they have a QR code for it about day 2-3 for electronic filing from ship) I usually get a response back from the Hotel Director within a day. I sometimes also get a phone call thanking me. In addition the staff members always thank me as they are called up at Staff Meeting and recognized. They usually also receive a reward of either Gift Certificate for the Crew's Store, Free Minutes of Internet or extra time off. They really appreciate it. They also appreciate you positive comments on you end of cruise survey. This helps them with promotions.
  5. That's good to hear. Unfortunately every time I've tried they told me they couldn't do it until the last day before the end of the cruise. It really makes no sense to me. I withdrawal my RF OBC so I don't loose 3X miles on Chase Sapphire
  6. Play through is you have to play each of the chips once. All winnings are paid out in regular chips that can be cashed in. As an example if you had $50 in promotional chips and bet $1 and win $50 you will still have Promotional Chips and $50 in regular chips (which can be cashed in). They are color coded.
  7. In addition they also have free dispensers of Coffee, water, Ice Tea and juices at the Spa Cafe (when open) also at the Pool Grill. On E-Class they also have available at Eden Cafe (when Open).
  8. Can you expand upon what you learned about "How to Order"? This could be very helpful.
  9. When consumed in any shipboard bar or dining venue, there's a corkage fee of $25 per bottle. This fee is waived if you have a Classic or Premium Drink Package. They no longer have the Wine (only) Package they do have a number of wines ins Gifts and Gear Section Prices between $34.99 - 60.99 per bottle (plus 18% gratuity).
  10. I think the OP may be referring to the Cruise Documents which become available about 30 days prior to sailing. If they want to see full invoice they can either request automatically on line if booked with Celebrity or via their TA.
  11. I have to agree with you. We would have to roll up towels and create a dam to keep the water in the shower. I was surprised recently on Equinox in an Accessible SS that they had a little Stainless A shaped trim at the entrance about 1/4 inch which a wheel chair could easily go over and it kept the water in. Nice design and would really be easy to update the existing showers. If nothing else they should use rubber dykes like they often use around the pools in high waves. You can just roll over them if in a wheel chair. After retirement I use to do Bathroom and Kitchen design. I did a number of curbless showers and never had a problem with water. But then again my bathrooms aren't swaying to the ocean.
  12. Often in November with the TA's and Exotics.
  13. NO - They are unique to the E-Class - From the picture you can see both the rail a couple inches above the pillows as well as how you might hit your head if sitting at the banket and standing up. No problem if facing the banket
  14. Wonder if it could have been one of the Spa's in Retread Sundeck above the Basketball Courts (if I recall correctly).
  15. I do the same and have found some paid upgrades that were a good deal as long as they were $1 more than your existing reservation.
  16. Not a problem as long as you request a price match prior to final payment date. I do it all the time. I just call my agent and he has the new rate applied. Be cautious that perks are the same or you could loose something with a better price.
  17. When I cancelled I was able to get one in about 7-10 days. On another occasion they were able to apply it directly to the new booking
  18. I just checked one of the Airlines Sites that I use to shop cruises and it's available for booking in all classes. Also showing lots of availability.
  19. The only place I've seen them restrict sandals are for going out on the Helipad. They ask all to have closed toe shoes on.
  20. By the way Kelly designed the E-Class also and carried on her poor design. Just ask anyone about the lamps over the tables. You won't find many guests that haven't hit their heads at least once. They have lots of Banket Seating - unfortunately the backrests are too short and the railing hits you in the back. To me the M and S Class are a perfect size. The E-Class and especially the newer ships you feel like your in United Airline Club in Chicago. I also find that the service and attentiveness in the M and S are much more personalized where you feel just like a just one of many. Personal perspective and there is no right answer.
  21. I thought the same thing with a very unique bag. One trip it was missing. I contacted the Customer Service Rep... she spoke into a walki talki and then told me it was outside Customs that someone had picked it up in error. I now have a bright Green Handle Wrap that says - This Isn't Your Bag. Also have my AirTags on them.
  22. I have to say I prefer the MClass Retreat lounge. Never seen it crowded except for the Officers Reception. On an M-Class you will rarely see more than 6 people there. Service is much more attentive. The negative to both is the Kelly design with the most uncomfortable non-functional furniture that one can imagine. Like tables for Tea that can't hold 2 cups of tea. Chairs and bench seating that are hard as concrete.
  23. We are on the 11/24 Cruise from Singapore to Sydney with an overnight in Bali. Tours listed by Rick for Bali are the same. Instead I booked a tour with Toursbylocals and prices were really inexpensive. Would recommend you take a look at some private tours and compare to Celebrity.
  24. I just booked cruise Equinox 11/24/2024 TransAtlantic 16 night cruise from Lisbon to Buenos Aires. It's a long cruise and I booked a RS which came to $19,998. Since it was prior to the new deposit rule and a upper suite, I had to pay $1,800 deposit (not much lower than if I had paid the 10%. I chose to book NR. I would believe I got the Maximum, In total I got the current fare plus the following OBC's $800, $400, $300 plus $100 for B2B for a total of $1,600 prior to those offered by my TA. I know offers change constantly and just checked currently if I booked online I would only get only $400 For me I booked Non-Refundable as the Refundable would have cost $4,338 more. If for some reason we need to change we will pay the $200 to change the sailing, While doing a mock booking I noticed the price has gone up $2,000.
  25. Thanks for bringing that up but the per-authorization and fee were for a download disembarkation and embarkation. We were taking a side trip from Goa to Taj Majal and rejoining the ship 3 days later. We have however departed on the first day of a overnight at the last port in Singapore, Buenos Aires and Yokohama. On those occasions I got confirmation in advance but had to make arrangements while on the ship. They just had to make arrangements that customs would be on duty at the time we were to leave the ship. It was really easy and like when you disembark they have to swipe you off the ship and after that you are unable to just leave the ship and walk past Customs and Immagration.
