  1. That is expected to be Utopia doing 3/4's though. The poster was looking for a smaller ship with lower prices.
  2. Adventure is replacing Mariner, it's just doing 6/8's and its prices are pretty terrible, IMO (at least the ones on the site). Oddly, my spring break 2024 Wonder cruise that's < 100 days away is at its lowest price EVER according to the site that tracks prices.
  3. PC only has one “smaller” ship… Adventure. It’s missing Utopia’s 3/4’s and Wonder’s pre-Star 7N’s, which will be released in February as mentioned above.
  4. That's the only port I'll sail from... I hear ya! I'm waiting for Wonder and Utopia June/July 2025 to be released and hoping for some group rates I can stomach. Unfortunately I'm mostly limited to school breaks but it is what it is. Prices are higher but I get to have my teacher wife home for the summer. Most things have pros and cons.
  5. Saying it's financially unwise to get into debt is certainly valid. Making a blanket statement that "smart" people are taking other forms of vacations... not so much, IMO.
  6. So someone who chooses to spend their money how they see fit and enjoys doing so on RC cruises isn't "smart"? What about people who choose to spend their money on expensive cars or jewelry? Are they also not smart? I will never understand the judging of how people choose to spend their money. If someone wants to pay $XYZ for a cruise and it brings them happiness, that's great! If someone else chooses to switch from cruising to another form of vacation, that's great too! As long as they're not harming others, people should spend their money however they see fit.
  7. We have to define big, lol. I love Oasis class but have zero interest in Icon class. But mostly I just don't care for anything smaller than Voyager class.
  8. Highly recommend the Mason Jar brunch. Loved it in June and have it booked for all 3 of my upcoming Wonder cruises (only thing I bought during the BF sale).
  9. I enjoyed Allure last month as well. Every time I compared Utopia to Wonder for the weeks we could sail, Wonder was cheaper so I'm just camping out on Wonder while she's here. We also have zero interest in Star (or its prices) and Celebrity isn't for us. I'll do the Wonder vs. Utopia comparison again for early Summer 2025 when they're released and hope they're not as high as I expect.
  10. 7 night Caribbean sailings almost assuredly from PC. I'd expect them to be just about identical to the current Wonder sailings.
  11. This. I've never been in this forum in my life (until now b/c I got the notification of the quote). Thanks @doghog.
  12. They were weak, icy, and awful last month. I quickly switched to margaritas which were weak but generally OK.
  13. Yes. Not sure how to get rid of it in Firefox. Switched to Brave (it's a browser with a bunch of security features built in for those unfamiliar) and it blocks it but that's not a good permanent solution. EDIT: I logged out and in and it seems to be gone. 🤷‍♀️
  14. More 1st world problems? 😁 I'll be working and waiting until March for my next cruise.😭
  15. I see $215 now with a small Florida resident discount (it was $228 without). Just in case anyone is interested. $607.98 for two.
  16. Yep. There have been a few over the last few months but not many,
  17. I think I played one once on my 1st or 2nd cruise ever. I may have made the final table and then won nothing. One and done for me. Just didn't find it very fun.
  18. Tourney play requires a totally different strategy than cash play.
  19. Some things are on sale, some aren’t. Some are 50% off, some less. The “Cyber Monday Sale” is just part of the Black Friday Sale that began on November 9th. You happened to point out 2 items not on sale. Many lunches are 40% off, water packages are 50% off, the refreshment package is lower than it has been for most cruises, the 4-device internet package is highly discounted, etc.
  20. Usually but it can be later on Monday. Try back this evening.
  21. Traditional when with extended family, self-assist when just with my wife... both have gone smoothly but for full disclosure, my last 2 family cruises have been in GS's so that obviously helps. Much larger than the version of Park Cafe they added to the small ships. Not much of a line in my experience. There are so many more choices to eat on Oasis class and especially Wonder, people are spread out. Correct about pizza being at Sorrento's (it was surprisingly good on Wonder in June and Allure last month, very crispy, not at all soggy). I can't help with the toddler or Vitality Cafe questions. I have no kids and Vitality Cafe is way too healthy for me, lol. I took my niece there once to get a smoothie but I can't say I remember much about it.
