Thanks everyone. I figured it was something that they did in the past. We usually do the emed tests. My question was that knowing that we get a certain amount of tests from the government monthly if we need - I was wondering if anyone got reimbursed that allowable amount towards the emed tests. I have no problem paying and will again, I was just curious because the emed site clearly says it’s covered by some insurance companies.

In the past we’ve used the Emed proctored tests for travel without any issues, including while in a hotel room in Italy. I have read here about other places we can do the test online our OTC tests, which we may try next time. But I’ve seen some here that say they have been reimbursed from Medicare for the tests purchased from Emed . Has anyone had that experience that they can share how?

We don’t have the free tests from IHealth. We received other ones. Where did you see the list of tests that can be used? I didn’t see it on the page

I didn’t mean it that way, I meant an injury that was unexpected that if one didn’t have sufficient medical insurance, even though they had a stable job, they would be left with a hefty bill. I’m sorry for your medical diagnosis.

Regardless of how much one makes, many people live way above their means, millionaires have gone bankrupt, people with huge medical bills they can’t afford to pay even though they make a good salary…. I could go on.

It’s a test but in the right direction.

Let’s just hope that royal steps up with this like HA did.

I failed to mention in my post that the other worrisome point for me viewing the video is that security wasn’t there Immediately to stop the brawl. And then I only saw two crew members try to break it up, and they were not capable of handling all the much larger guests. I see security standing around a lot on ships, and I would think they would be trained to spot a potential problem before it gets to that point. Certainly there had to be clues that showed escalation in the moments before. I hope this was seen by Michael Bayley, because training needs to change. Royal doesn’t want to blemish their reputation as a family cruise.

I hope they were all forced to stay in their cabins and removed at the next port. Regardless of the comments that short cruises attract this type of mentality and behavior (which I have also personally witnessed) if Royal doesn’t do anything and allows these incidents without consequences, it sets a precedent. Their behavior was disgraceful.

The link for ihealth says sold out…. do you know if this rapid test is only for the ihealth tests? I never got that type for our free tests.
