Wonderful Copenhagen 2023
greatestvalue replied to Danish viking's topic in Northern Europe & Baltic Sea
Best Phone Service Provider in Copenhagen? I will pick up a SIM card when I get into Copenhagen. Feel like the phone service reps will be able to get everything up and running much faster than we will if we were to get an e-sim card. Any recommendations on who has the better service coverage for the area/region? -
Booyah!! Thats what we are talking about. On the upcoming RCL it's $376.00 for the OBC(s) from Amex & TA and shareholder benefits Im pretty close to you on an upcoming NCL 15 day Panama Canal. One thing I like about this one, is it includes pre-paid gratuities for 2 as well So nothing to spend the money on but ourselves, once we get on board. This is for a 15 day Panama Canal. So it all adds up!!

American Express Cruise Privileges Program

I cant imagine that its not combinable. But as others have mentioned, that is a possibility. Do you have a screen shot of your pricing when you booked. And may it have been they took the $200.00 off of your pricing at time of booking vs it being OBC from Royal? I dont remember seeing RCL give that much OBC for a balcony. Regarding the Amex OBC, I have consistently see our OBC immediate in our planner. I just upgraded yesterday from an Oceanview to a Balcony and already see the increase from $100 to $200, in the planner. I know when our TA is giving us OBC, that we wont see until we are on board. And sometimes according to the TA it could take up to 2 days. But that is not RCL. I would go back and look to see if you can find anything that indicates when you purchased you would get the $200 OBC direct from RCL. -

Be happy to let you know. But I also just travel with a usb mini fan that I bought for $2.99. I truly dont like depending on unknowns. If I get hot I need the air flow, so problem solved. But yes, I will be happy to get intel on the AC at this hotel. -

Now that would not be fun. I will ensure I read up on it and determine if it is best for everyone in Copenhagen that I stay off the road..... 🙂 and depend on the awesome transportation provided for us. One of the laws here is E-bikes arent allowed on a lot of the bike trails because they are motorized. -

I looked in the port forum for the best place in Copenhagen to get Danablu. To my surprise there was nothing there. I also didnt find any postings on Aebleskivers Im thinking danablu will be on the breakfast menu at the hotel. However, I would love to purchase some for picnics/snack etc for during our stay in Copenhagen. Also, where we live on the Central Coast of CA. We have a little town called Solvang. It is a Danish Town. Has a windmill at the entrance of the town and is a huge attraction for tourists and a fabulous place for us locals. They have the best Danish Butter Cookies, bakeries, wine tasting, Danish food & Aebleskivers. Where do you recommend we visit in Copenhagen to buy Danablu in Copenhagen? And best place to experience Aebleskivers? Also, would anyone know if we can bring Danablu home on the plane with us into the states? -

Are there E-bikes for rent in Copenhagen? I looked at a couple of sites for bike rentals and it appeared to e all regular bikes. -

Are these 2 places worth heading to... The Deer Park - can you walk around there in regular shoes. It appears to be grasslands? And with it being outside the city is it worth the trek? Reffen Food Market - again, I think a bit of a ways out of the city? But they say a great "rare food" experience. -

We are opposite direction but only a 3 minute walk from Central Station, at the Andersen. Who has had fabulous customer service thus far! -

This is exactly what we are taking. So @Ex-Airbalancer our hotels must be close to each other. -

I was wondering about the hot dog stand. Are they beef hot dogs, or bratwurst, or more like a sausage. Your favorite place? -

I think I have nailed down what to do/see/how to get around in Copenhagen for the 7 days before our cruise. And I am sooooo excited to visit your beautiful city/country. I have a list of places to eat as well. Like the Bowl Market Copenhagen; Torvehallerne Hall, Illum for a coffee, Tivolli Food Hall to try the eclairs and/or macaroons from the Le Petit Paris , Spunk Bar, another restaurant next to the Andersen Hotel, Sankt Peders Bageri cinnamon buns on Wednesday. Bertels Salon (mixed reveiws on this one) Our hotel offers what has been reviewed as an incredible breakfast. As well as, a wine hour. But where are we missing that is a locals favorite? -

I know I have seen this a million times on "how to" find out where the ship will be docked and what terminal we need to go to in order to get on our ship, but for the life of me I cant seem to enter the right words in google to find the site. Where do I find out what terminal my ship will be at for the Voyager of the Seas on August 28th? - TIA -

As others have said....Usually they will cancel the rest of your trip if you do not show up for the 1st leg.
