  1. Its been quite a while since we have been on Arcadia, but seem to remember freedom been upstairs?
  2. Sounds like a lottery to me If you are bidding on just a general upgrade , could this be the next evolution to fluid pricing?
  3. The only place we couldn't book or get in was the Olive Tree, all the others we managed either via the app which was easy to self install and was better than expected ,or calling at the venue we wanted , don't know if the Epicurean was closed as its somewhere that has no interest for us at all. Enjoyed Iona and I'm sure you will too ๐Ÿ‘
  4. Hope it works out for you ,however the majority this year have failed to make it
  5. Thanks, just another senior moment๐Ÿ˜‚
  6. It took seven weeks to get excursion refunds from our Iona bookings ,even though they ( P and O ) cancelled them , it took two days to get refunds for our upcoming Arcadia cruise excursion which again P and O cancelled , same card ,same name, absolutely no rhyme or reason to it, but acknowledge neither were covid related
  7. Thanks ,wanted to avoid going in to Southampton if we could ,but at least its an option ๐Ÿ‘
  8. Thanks for the good advice , we only want a standard meal as we will have been travelling a few hours by the time we arrive ,
  9. Hi, our party of four are staying here pre cruise and are wondering if anyone has used the hotel and if there is somewhere to get a meal nearby , we expect to arrive around 18.00 to 19,30 hours? Thanks
  10. Totally agree, we have seen some excellent tribute acts on ships and at home , the attention to the little things makes them worth seeing, and hearing๐Ÿ‘
  11. I may stand corrected ,but believe Gerainger has been removed from all Iona's ports next year, and did hear that one of p and O's ships didn't make Norway recently due to bad weather , but for the life of me I cant remember which one it was
  12. Interesting, do you know if this down to staff shortages or other circumstances ?
  13. The joy of early booking usually means a meagre obc allowance ,however on most occasions the price of the cruise increases to beyond what the extra obc makes up, not going to comment on military obc as that thread was removed because of people having differing views on it๐Ÿ˜†
  14. Interesting comments regarding the Olive Grove , we tried repeatedly to get in and failed every time , would have liked to have tried it as it appeared very popular, too popular as it turned out๐Ÿ˜’
  15. Well that is better than anything I ever built , well done๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  16. And if previous cruises are anything to go by, including ours , you may not even get there๐Ÿ˜’
  17. I used to love playing with Lego as a child , looks like these guys haven't grown out of it !!๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Seriously though looking very nice
  18. Agree the extra for Goldleaf is worth every penny, absolutely loved, loved, loved that trip, would like to do it again but sometimes the second time fails to meet the first, however in this case we would risk it!!!. Banff and Vancouver were fantastic and the Alaska cruise was the icing on the cake, one of the best trips we have ever done๐Ÿ˜Š
  19. Would definitely recommend the Rocky Mountaineer , brilliant way to see the Rockies at leisure
  20. We do double them up though before stapling, never had any come off ( as yet!!)
  21. Cunard did even though we used our passport photo's , haven't bothered since as they are happy enough to take it at the port ,as for printing luggage labels we just get our TA to do any printing , after all that's one of the benefits of using one
  22. Cant quite understand it ourselves ,but at least its one thing less to deal with ( yes it is the USA/CANADA cruise)
  23. Don't think its unreasonable to expect these services when your paying top dollar๐Ÿ™‚
