  1. Hello. Which tour is better, and why? The basic excursion to those cities (from docking in Genoa) is $159. The Discovery tour is $199. I'm trying to save money but will I be missing out on anything?

  3. Does anyone have any updates on when HAL might open the 2025 cruise tours?
  4. I went in May last year, and have scheduled May again in 2025. However, I was very disappointed in the lack of animal sightings in May. Am reluctant to book late August or September as I want to see SNOW. Am I missing something? I guess I can still change, although I LOVE the cabin I booked on Sapphire for May 25. Maybe if a spectacular sale comes along and I can book a suite......... But anyway, will I still see snow in August? We moved from the North East to the South ten years ago and I loved seeing snow......and knowing I'd never have to shovel it again!
  5. I just looked into my files, and it seems I actually booked this trip June of this year for next year. Not sure why I was thinking I booked it last year. Anyway, I added up the value of my Plus items, and for one week it comes to $866. That seems crazy. That divided by 7 days is about $123 a day. Yikes! I guess $60 bucks a day is a bargain. I'm assuming since I booked in June of 2023, I will get the casual dining. Not that it matters as I don't mind the regular dining room. We'll be doing very long excursions (Italian Riviera)....so we will be gone most of the day and doing a later dinner relaxing.
  6. Hello. I booked one of the Mediterranean cruises for 2024. I booked it last year in 2022. At the time I did book Princess Plus. I recently looked at my travel summary but it never updated to the new "casual dining" etc., Will I still be entitled to that?
  7. Just another thought. Would it be possible to put the beds together as a queen, but on the opposite wall so that you can face the TV? Any impediments preventing this?
  8. What, you don't like spending 90 minutes waiting to talk to customer service?🤪
  9. Appreciate the tips. Hope I remember this two years from now, LOL. Not doing this till 2025. Doing the new Princess Sun in 2024, now THAT should be something!!!
  10. Thanks for this post. I just booked this for Alaska. If it rains, I'll just go somewhere else! Thanks again for the pix. Oh and by the way, the original placement of the couch would have driven me bonkers. I would have centered it on the wall (to view the TV). I think you came up with a good idea to look outside. We'll have to see. I'm still tossed up about converting the beds to a queen, as I'm afraid of wacking my feet in the middle of the night I'll let hubby sleep on good side as I'm picking the room). Who knows, if prices come down, I might splurge for a Vista, but until then....
  11. Thank you. Stupid me I was actually search You Tube videos for this cabin. Thank you so much for the link. It does have the two TVs. Weird bathroom. Don't know if I or hubby an survive a week with that sink set up. But it's got two TVs. You just need to have the beds in the twin mode to watch from Bed.
  12. I've only been able to find old photos. Even though it's a balcony, does it have two TV's? It did in photos I found 14 years ago. However, they were both of those boxey TVs that sat on shelves. Does anyone have any updates? Thanks!
  13. Are you all Elites? Just confirming because although I got the email, it says prices aren't available. Assuming I can't book until tomorrow?
  14. Anytime I call, I do wait. However it takes over an hour on hold. I just do household tasks etc. However, it is disgraceful that a company treats their customers like that. I had a question about Holland America recently, and when I called HAL, I was on hold for about five minutes, and the person defintely was based in the USA.
  15. No just don't like to give out full information. However, I do appreciate your insight into cruise line hotel choices, etc. Thank you for that! I'm actually happy with the hotel I chose, although I just thought it would be easier to tie it all up in a bow with Princess.
  16. Going in the spring. Don't really want to give out dates online. But it is NOT near any type of holiday.
  17. I called about Pre Cruise Hotels in Barcelona. After about an hour waiting I finally get someone (and actually the same thing happened when I called a few weeks ago about hotels in Rome post cruise). The Princess site lists three hotels, with the average price about $259 a night. The person gets on the line and says the only hotel they have in Barcelona is the Hotel Claris and it is $690 a night. I asked him to clarify that and he repeated that yes, it was for ONE night. Now, I already have hotels that I booked on my own, but I really wanted something hooked up with Princess. And this is for next spring, so it's not like I'm looking lfor a hotel next week Anyway, has anyone successfully booked a hotel through Princess and paid a NORMAL price?
  18. This got me thinking. I booked my Barcelona-Italy cruise last March for 2024. I did book Plus. Will I be entitled to those new add ons or do I have to do something different. I checked my reservation and it doesn't say that I have them. I don't want to rebook because I LOVE my room choice.
  19. I don't mind the $8, but for lordy's sake, its such an invasion or privacy and such an opportunity for Identity Theft.
