  1. Never got that email. I book right on the Princess website, and ignore all the Princess TAs that reach out to me. I have no idea if it's of any value to deal with a Princess TA? If so, I might change my tune in the future.
  2. Thanks. I couldn't remember and or find the dates.
  3. Hope this post doesn't get merged in the 12 page post that combines South America and Alaska....because most of the posts as of late are South America related only. That being said, I see that the 2025 itineraries are up and loaded onto Princess, but not the prices yet Does anyone know when it opens for Elite, and also for the general public? Thank you.
  4. I sort of agree with the OP. However, I do drink but my lord, no more than 3 glasses of wine a day...so I guess I the package seems to be worth it?
  5. Oh, I should have mentioned this would be an identical Southern Glacier tour. Same itineary for each. And I actually did this same route in 2022, and anxious to go back...with different excursions of course.
  6. Since I can't book yet, I'm going back and forth between which ship to choose. Caribbean Princess is also on the schedule, but I ruled her out because she is just tooooooo big. The only other ship I was on was The Majestic, which I LOVED!!!
  7. I did southbond, and will do it again. I like to get the land portion in first, and then be pampered at the end. Hubbard Glacier is amazing.
  8. albeit they are listed as "unavailable". Hopefully they will open soon.
  9. Seems as though you can't do two nights in Denali unless you do one night first at McKinley Lodge, or one night first in Fairbanks. Wish they had Ancorage to Denali for two nights and then to ship. Instead, I'll have to (once again) do DB4. Unless I'm missing something?
  10. Oh, the bus might be a difference, yes. Didn't see that. Thanks. Also didn't know I could upgrade to the Tundra Tour. In all honesty, we did one of the tours in 2022 and we didn't see much. Not sure if that's because it was Mid-May....vs. summer
  11. All of those ships share the same intinerary. They all include Hubbard AND Glacier Bay. I actually love Hubbard a little better than Glacier Bay, believe it or not. I didn't know I could upgrade the tour Tundra Tour on Princess thanks for that information. In my heart, I know I have to do Princess. For what it's worth,, were' scheduled on the new Sun Princess in 2024 in Europe.
  12. For all you experienced Alaska cruisers. I did the Majestic Princess last year. Want to do it again in 2025 but can't decide between Coral or Sapphire. Which would you do? Also, just to throw a monkey wrench into the mix, I'm also consider HAL's Noordam. I'm going to book either a Mini Suite on Princess or a Signature Suite on HAL. Would appreciate thoughts. I'm really interested in all of the music venues on the Noordam, although I want so much to go with Princess. Also, It doesn't bother me the difference between the Denali Princess Hotel, vs. the McKinley Chalet (for Hal). I've stayed at the Denali Princess and had dinner at the McKinely Chalet, so I've been on both properties. I'd get the Tundra Excursion with HAL, vs The Natural History Tour with Princess. Your thoughts? Thanks!
  13. Doesn't seem to be much difference between the two, except On Your Own does one night at McKinley Lodge and then two nights at Denali Princess, while Denali Explorer does the three nights just at the Denali Princess. The one exception seems to be that the Denali Explorer includes the Natural History Tour. There is quite a few hundred dollars difference between DE and On your Own. Am I missing something? Also, on a different note, it seems as though Princess Only does the Natural History Tour now, while Holland America does the full Tundra Tour. Right?
  14. Well, I actually called HAL earlier, and wow, you CAN'T book cruise tours now. I find that odd. But it is what it is. I think I'm going to put a deposit on a room now, and hopefully, I can Keep that room when I add the tour. They might not be able to do it, as they have to cancel the reservation and then make a new one. We'll see. I might even change my mind on the room by that time.
  15. That sounds odd. Why would they wait until the fall to post cruise tours? The selection of the best cabins will be gone by then for those who don't want to just cruise. Princess opens cruises and cruise tours at the same time.
  16. Now, I just looked at the Cruisetour Excel Sheet. I am interested in DB4 3 night Denali. We did it last year and we want to do it again. However, here it says Motorcoach Anchorage to Denali, and then Motorcoach Denali to Whittier. Isn't that odd that it doesn't list the train? We did motorcoach up last time and train down. Could this just be a typo? It's repeated a few times. Hum???
  17. I saw the file that someone posted about the 2025 Alaska schedule for Princess, and Glacier Bay is listed. Isn't it odd that it's not on the GB schedule. Here's the other link I had looked at. Glacier Bay (Alaska) cruise port schedule | CruiseMapper
  18. I went to see what other ships go into Glacier Bay in May of 2025, and there was no mention of Princess. There was NCL, HAL and a couple of others, but not Princess. I then went to another website with the schedule, and low and behold, Princess wasn't mentioned either. Anyone know what's going on?
  19. That's 2023....I'm looking for cruisetours 2025
  20. They've opened the regular Alaska cruises, but not cruise tours. What am I missing?
  21. I see Alaska cruises, but not Alaska cruise tours. Anyone know when they will be released?
  22. First off, decide whether or not you want to fly into Anchorage or Fairbanks. We did DB4 last year, and although we had three nights in Denali which I thought at the time was a bit too long, looking back, it was probably the best. I want to go again in 2025, and might reduce it down to Denali on your own. It will cost less and I think the only thing I will be missing is two vs. three nights in Denali and the Natural History Tour (or whatever you call it). I think I get a night at Mount Mckinley which could be boring, but I will be saving about $800.
