  1. The Mushroom Soup is to die for. The crispy goat cheese salad is also very good. The side choices are veg: tots, baked potato, asparagus, spinach, Mac and cheese etc.

    Desserts are excellent too.

You could make a meal there and I would bet they could make a veg entree w notice.

I would totally go to Chops as a vegetarian.

  2. In reading the fine print for Hibachi, it's not included in any of the packages, so I don't believe even with the Ultimate package one could have dinner there included in the package.

Correct! However the sushi side is available with the set allowance per person. The sushi side at lunch did have some non sushi options that were very tasty.

Sombra is also another good choice!

  3. Question for experience suite guests...I’m looking forward to enjoying coastal kitchen but I also love the MDR, this would be my first time with MTD. Can the concierge assist with reservations or no wait? Or am I SOL and doing it on my own?

Yes, they can. Just reply to the initial email before you cruise or ask on day 1 when you stop by CK. As a hint CK Kitchen on day one is fantastic for lunch, not too crowded and great food!

  4. It's very rare for a ship sponsored excursion to be left. I can think of only once ever

We have seen it happened a couple of times. The ship waited for several hours but couldn't wait any longer. One was due to an accident and the other was due to a breakdown of the vehicle. Yes they will try to wait, but the ship is not required to just because you booked a sponsored tour.

  5. Note, cruise sponsored tours aren't required to wait for you. They will try, but if not, the tour company takes responsibility for getting you to the next port.

Most reputable tour companies will do everything in their power to get you back to the ship in time because one missed passenger means bad rating and potentially out of business.

I would book on board. We did the $199 which includes 1 hot tub session and a salt scrub session. The price is the same on board. I'm not sure I would pay the extra again especially on Harmony since you don't get the mud treatment like you do on the other Oasis ships. The price is the same early and on board but I would check the spa as they do tours on day one.
