Having sailed in both, what is your itinerary? Private beach in Labadee is a nice GS perk. So is the private deck on the ship ;)
-
Question, if I cruise single in a suite is that 4x cruise points or a Max of 2x cruise points?
-
Have the same allergy. Oasis in Oct cooked my food in the back and brought it out. I had no problem and enjoyed my meal!
-
The risotto was my favorite too. Was not available on our October cruise but hope it makes an appearance this year ;)
-
For dinner only.

And on a space available basis for dinner.

Yes, you can split Voom up. You can have up to 4 devices connected at one time and do not need to use the same device.

What's in a mudslide? ;p
Traditionally, it is ice, Vodka, Irish Cream, Kahlua and chocolate sauce.
Some places add ice cream instead of the ice!

Quantum and Oasis class ships!

Champagne Bar, dancing at Dazzles, dinner at 150, Aqua show, Cats (I think I'm the only one who likes this show), lunch at Park Cafe (beef on kimmelwick), cocktail on Rising Tide.. But why so short on a normal 7 day itinerary??

The sand is rocky. Bring shoes too!
-
Yes.
Another restriction is that the package does not include any dinner with wine pairings, such as Mystery Dinner and Chef's Table.
And no hibachi at Izumi ;)

Doesn't apply to just Harmony, but want to throw out there if you are stopping in Cozumel, another option is to take the Salsa, Salsa, Margarita class as a shore excursion. RC has probably copied this, but without the dance lessons.:D
One of our favorite excursions ;) It was well worth it.

Could someone tell me the benefits of the Sky Class. It's kind of general on the website. Just want to make sure we don't miss anything.
Which ship?
-
We always sail in OS or better. That is the only way I can get her to go so often:)
However, once you go GS or higher, it is really hard to cruise in lower classes. You get spoiled quick.

Thanks! I didn't see the cocktail class listed...is it only offered while on board?
Yes, the put it on the cruise compass. It's normally on sea days. We did it twice as it was two different drink menus.

I will be on harmony in a grand suite. I bought the ultimate dinning package. With that I've picked a time. But not able to make restsurant reservations. If i contact concierge prior to cruise and let him know my restaurant preferences, can he make my reservations at my set time?
I guess the alternative is to run around as soon as i board and make my own reservations
I am mostly concerned about getting reservations at my set time cause we are not nite owls

I would reply to the concierge when they email you about a week out. They will happily make your reservations. Also, you can go up to CK and have them reserve as a GS guest instead of fighting the first day crowd at the specialty restaurant.

The Avacado Fiesta is a new take on the Guacamole and margarita class at Sabor. We enjoyed the hands on class we did March of last year. Had plenty of food and was fun. However, the cocktail classes at Wonderland were our favorite.

Oh, Lord. After I finished rolling on the floor, I decided I have a new philosophy of life, at least as applied to manuals, newspaper headlines, newsletters, and of course, Royal Caribbean communications in all forms.

The PDF is from 2016 and policies have changed. Hibachi is not included on any dining package and kids are half off adult prices. This is from the cruise planner today:

FNDR on Oasis is only Sabor and Giovanni's.
-
In addition to caffeine free diet Coke, the freestyle machines have diet Sprite, Diet Fanta and sparking water and lemonade choices.
-
You have to check your cruise planner. Once you login, you can see prices for all drinks, specialty dining, excursions and VOOM. Remember, you can always book and cancel if the price drops!
-
Wait a minute. Are you saying that if you put a $20 bill in the slot machine, use $2 in play, you cannot cash out and get $18 cash back from the casino cashier?
For onboard credit it was requiring that value be played and not cashed out. If you cashed out a promo value or onboard credit you got to slip that said onboard credit not redeemable for cash.If you put a $20 bill and you can cash out twenty bucks all the way down to a penny.
-
Yes. Just go to a casino cashier and request table chips or a slot voucher to be billed to your onboard account.
There will be a 5% service fee added unless you set up your onboard account as a cash one. If the latter is done make sure you advise the cashier of that.
Both the table chips and slot voucher received are likely to be non-cashable. If so the slot voucher can be used in any machine and becomes a cashable one when you cash out.
The non-cashable table chips must be played but the winnings are paid in cashable chips. If any non-cashable chips remain after your playing is done convert these to a slot voucher at the cashier and do the above at any machine without actually playing.
On Oasis, the slot vouchers we're still printing as non cashable except for winnings. No way to convert to cash unless you won more than the value.
Crown and anchor points amount gone down.

Thanks, thinking of trying to sneak a short on in to get to D before our October sailing and husband can't go ;)
