  1. Yeah I saw thanks gonna post in the port of call sections of where we are going. Think Nassau, cozumel, costa maya and coxen hole I think.

Based on your username, I'm guessing Catholic. St Paul in Nassau is beautiful. Check them out. The Diocese website has the Pastor's contact info.. Keep us posted and enjoy!

  2. Well that puts a kink in plans. I called RC and they connected me to RC weddings which is different branch or company. Minimum price for any type of ceremony even what I said was simple vow renewal was $2k. Way too much for getting almost nothing.

Agree would not pay that for a renewal. What itnereary are you considering? See my update about maybe doing it at Port in a local church?

  3. Allure no longer had a chapel. They removed it on the last dry dock . :(. That being said, Royal can and will do a nice ceremony if you reach out to them well in advance of the sailing. On Allure, I am sure they can find a place to have a memorable renewal service. Congrats on the Anniversary!!

I think the renewal cost is much less than the actual wedding cost.

What itinerary are you considering? You could look at renewing at a church or chapel in Port. I know someone who did this at the Catholic Church in the Bahamas and it was wonderful. Plus they got to take pictures on the beach!

  4. Any vegetarians here who have tried the specialty Wonderland restaurant?

    How was your experience?

Will the chef adapt the menu for vegetarians?

    Thank you for sharing.

I went that direction last year on Harmony. It was Friday and Lent and I have a fish/seafood allergy. They did a nice job but Wonderland is more about presentation than taste, in my opinion. My husband did the regular menu, both were tasty but not the best food on the ship. Preferred the vegetarian options in 150!

  5. Harmony has water slides, Abyss, Flow Rider, rock wall, escape room, and all the stuff on the sports decks. Grease was a great show too.

I love the shows on Oasis and going out of Port Canaveral is cheaper! No water slides but it's our favorite ship. Tons to do! The carousel on the Boardwalk is a favorite. Rock wall, mini golf, sports decks, flow rider and Zipline are fun! We preferred the specialty restaurants on Allure and Oasis to Harmony.

Allure is very similar to Oasis. Major difference is Solariun turns into a Brazilian Steakhouse at night as a specialty restaurant. Shows are good. Mama Mia is fun for the family.

  6. I have a question, for those who go to the SL for drinks, do you not have the drink package or you use both? I wouldn't ever need to use the SL only because we always get the drink package, just curious what you all do.

We have done both ways. A drink package is honored in CK and SL and it is a nice place to hang out. Also, the bar in the private beach in Labadee and near the suite lounge deck onboard will take the package. We also enjoy cocktail hour in the SL both with or without the package.

  7. It really only does two decks. Central Park and the promenade. The decks in between are basically atrium where the rising tide exists so it is open air (indoors). Takes about 15 minutes as I recall to go up or down so 30 minutes to go up and then return back to the promenade. You can exit or enter at either location.

Yes, each trip is 15 min each way. We love to have a cocktail and listen to the Central Park live music. It is one of our favorite bars on Oasis ships!
