  1. Same here and so far Linda is fine. Seems like you may be 1 or two days ahead of me. I’ll be anxious to hear when you test negative.
  2. How are you feeling today. I feel a tiny bit better but still feel tired and doing some coughing and blowing my nose. I do t think I’ve ever had a fever. Made a call to my Dr. to see if I can get a prescription for Paxlovid to speed up recovery process.
  3. I hope so too. I've got more Christmas decorating to do. Same for me. Tylenol, lots of water. Having dinner now with some Panera Cheese and Broccoli soup. Feels good on the throat.
  4. So far she feels fine. I’m now confined to the upstairs. Been sleeping off and on all day. Feel cruddy but more like a bad cold.
  5. I’m bummed because I dodged it for so long. I figured if I got it I would get it on my last two cruises. So much for whiskey being a medicinal.
  6. Thanks @Momof3gurlz to give me the idea to take a COVID test for my cold symptoms. Looks like the KC Whiskey Expo Saturday was a super spreader event. I just tested positive. First time in 3 years that I got COVID.
  7. Oh I forgot about that stupid law. 25 nautical miles and you are good to go. So sorry. I have had a cold for the last two days maybe I should test.
  8. Recording to watch on Friday night. After watching the first episode looks like there will be a lot of tension between the two stews and a couple of the deckhands who have attitudes.
  9. That's great. The Kraken Colada is my first drink I always get when I get onto the ship. It's a ceremonial first drink to say It's time to cruise the open seas.
  10. Welcome back home and the boring reality that you are not on a cruise ship. The minute I get home I start counting the days until my next cruise.
  11. Welcome back. That update for CC was a real PITA. Caused me a lot of headaches. Sorry to hear this. Arthritis in the hips is very painful. I take it the next big step would be hip replacement. From what I hear it's less painful than my knee replacement. Right now my other knee is really giving me fits. I may need to get it replaced soon too. I'm not looking forward to that at all.
  12. Interesting article on the new yacht Capt. Lee will run with the new season of Below Deck. She's a beauty and apparently the largest yacht of the franchise. https://www.boatinternational.com/yachts/news/st-david-yacht-below-deck?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=belowdeck_news_oct22&fbclid=IwAR3kr2w-xQuWpS_EIdkGDunDAc2cpa_lNrn-Wt56p31YhFul1R5_08xZGFY
  13. Symphony had a great selections of bourbons and whiskeys this past September including Buffalo Trace. On Liberty this past October and bourbon was pitiful. No Makers but they did have Buffalo Trace.
  14. On some ships you may have to make your Izumi/Hibachi reservations at the restaurant. Usually I can make all my restaurant reservations at any specialty restaurant. On Symphony I made all my reservations at CP 150 but had to run down to Izumi to make those reservations. Not sure why that is. Most of the specialty restaurants will be open for lunch only on sea days. And yes you could eat every night at Chops if you wanted to.
  15. You guys look fantastic. Sorry Bob. I watched the game and Josh seemed off. Have they said anything about his arm? I saw him holding it. Chiefs really sucked it up too. I can't believe they won. Mahomes pretty much had to do it himself since the O line played horrible. Kicker needs to be let go. He can kick it far bit he's not accurate.
  16. So happy you had a greAt meal at Raices. Congratulations on your anniversary.
