Wow looks like I’ve missed a lot of posts. Sorry I haven’t been around the last two days I’ve been getting ready for our second of 3 dinner parties at my home. Tonight will be somewhat of a repeat even though it is for different guests. 3 couples that live in our neighborhood where all of our sons grew up together and were best friends. Tonight’s menu will be my marinated filets and twice baked and sweet potatoes. I’m making my Greek Orzo salad again and our other couples are bringing appetizer, vegetable dish, and one couple makes a killer chocolate mousse that we have every year. Should be fun. I’ll check in tomorrow.

Oh that's so disappointing to hear. I wonder if the steaks were any better than the prime rib? I hope it gets better. Thanks for checking it out. I think some of it may be the holiday season. I have got pretty busy with things. We have dinners or parties every weekend. This weekend I host another dinner party of some of our dear friends in the neighborhood whose sons all grew up with Jonathan. I have been busy in the kitchen today prepping.

Here is mine even though it doesn't meet your bonus points. It did get a lot of attention and I think from the comments most people really enjoyed it. -
I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Eric's mother. My thoughts will be with you and the family. I think you both should cruise. Give yourself time to grieve and a cruise would give you some comfort. My mom and Linda's mom were both cremated and we didn't have a celebration of life ceremony till a couple of months after they died. Anything you do does not have to be right away. Take time for yourself and celebrate her life.

Yes. I think you will be cramped. Go for a Junior suite. I like Deck 8 We always do but we also bring cash to tip Bartenders, Waiters, and Stewards as well as anyone else who goes above and beyond service. Main dining room is complimentary with your cruise fair as well as the Windjammer. You might consider at least one specialty restaurant to do something different. Yes I would as they can sell out.

I have watched every Hallmark Christmas movie ever made. And yes all their movies are formula driven with the same plots and actors until this year. They must have gotten a bunch of new writers because the plots and dialogs are more interesting. The characters are more interesting and the acting is even better. They are more real and about people's everyday struggles than just a bunch of love stories. They may not be for you but I actually enjoy them as they always put me in the holiday spirit. I will also watch the new holiday movies that Netflix, HBO and Lifetime put out too. Of course there will always be some bad and corny ones but I don't watch a holiday movies seriously. They are meant to be entertainment and just that.
