Live - One Way Voyage(r), Boston to San Juan 10/30

Welcome back home and the boring reality that you are not on a cruise ship. The minute I get home I start counting the days until my next cruise. -
Welcome back. That update for CC was a real PITA. Caused me a lot of headaches. Sorry to hear this. Arthritis in the hips is very painful. I take it the next big step would be hip replacement. From what I hear it's less painful than my knee replacement. Right now my other knee is really giving me fits. I may need to get it replaced soon too. I'm not looking forward to that at all.

Interesting article on the new yacht Capt. Lee will run with the new season of Below Deck. She's a beauty and apparently the largest yacht of the franchise. https://www.boatinternational.com/yachts/news/st-david-yacht-below-deck?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=belowdeck_news_oct22&fbclid=IwAR3kr2w-xQuWpS_EIdkGDunDAc2cpa_lNrn-Wt56p31YhFul1R5_08xZGFY

Crowl Royal is back (maybe?)

Symphony had a great selections of bourbons and whiskeys this past September including Buffalo Trace. On Liberty this past October and bourbon was pitiful. No Makers but they did have Buffalo Trace. -
On some ships you may have to make your Izumi/Hibachi reservations at the restaurant. Usually I can make all my restaurant reservations at any specialty restaurant. On Symphony I made all my reservations at CP 150 but had to run down to Izumi to make those reservations. Not sure why that is. Most of the specialty restaurants will be open for lunch only on sea days. And yes you could eat every night at Chops if you wanted to.

You guys look fantastic. Sorry Bob. I watched the game and Josh seemed off. Have they said anything about his arm? I saw him holding it. Chiefs really sucked it up too. I can't believe they won. Mahomes pretty much had to do it himself since the O line played horrible. Kicker needs to be let go. He can kick it far bit he's not accurate.

Oh no! I'm so sorry. That room is unacceptable. I feel bad because I recommended that hotel and praised it very highly. Granted our views were about the same but better in the higher floors. Sounds like they were not prepared for everyone. I hope your meal at Raices will be good. -

I'm glad you ate there. I forgot to tell you their food is really good. We ate breakfast there twice and loved it. Did you get up to the little bar in the hotel? -
Kansas City Whiskey Expo I survived the 2022 KC Whiskey Expo. Actually feel pretty good today but glad Linda and I stayed the night at the hotel. Wow what a great experience to talk and taste bourbon and whiskey from some incredible distilleries and vendors. I couldn't possibly taste everything but I did taste most of the VIP bottles. Winner for me was the Hibiki 21. A Japanese Whiskey aged for 21 years. A bottle goes for a whopping $1100. My next favorite was the Bruichladdich Black Art Edition 10, A scotch whiskey from Scotland. It sells for $450. I'm glad I got to at least taste these because I don't think I can afford to buy any of these. Most of my bourbons and Whiskeys are in the $125 or less category. Expensive hobby to say the least. The event was packed but there was enough vendors 50 in all that kept everyone moving. I will say that I got my money's worth of my VIP $125 ticket and the $147 hotel room. Linda got the general admission ticket that was $75 and she even played the slots in the casino and won $50. All and all a great night of fun and spirits.

Will do. Hope to finish the inside today or tomorrow. Putting up 4th and final inside tree today. Then I'll start working on the outside. I'll take a bunch of pictures and post them once we get everything put up. That's what I thought, what great balance. There is no way I could do that. That's a good idea. I may talk to my doctor about that. Ha Lol, I have seen that picture before. Genius.

Shoulder is doing ok depending on what I try and do. Sometimes I think it's doing better than my knee. The knee has been struggling but most in part because I have been putting up Christmas decorations. Lots of up and down stairs and ladders. It's been pretty sore. Who knew Christmas would be hazardous for your health? 😉
