  1. Mine all went up in price since yesterday when there was no 'sale'. haha!
  2. The most recent 'sale' ended on Monday. Prices popped up higher on Tuesday. I don't think there is a current 'sale' at the moment. Will there be one for Memorial Day? Hard to say since one sale just ended. I did get multiple emails about the sale that started last week though. And the 'last day to get in on the sale' email on Monday.
  3. 30 days from your sail date you can log into your cruise on the website. Your edocs will be there, luggage tags are the last page. Check in opened 45 days before your sailing, so if you haven't checked in yet and chosen an arrival time, you should do that ASAP.
  4. They definitely discount daybeds. I have booked daybeds for a few upcoming cruises when there was a sale, and saved between $50 to $75. And they do sell out. But if you watch sometimes they do pop back up when someone does cancel. If there are two ships at Coco Cay that day, that cuts the inventory as well.
  5. Well, I had posted a picture and now it looks like the photo disappeared, so here it is again. If it disappears again, I give up. 😛
  6. I collect them and other things from my travels, that I can attach to the beams on my covered deck. Sun/moon is from Cabo. Lizards are from 2 stops in Labadee
  7. In the case of 14235 the blank space is the pool (which is one deck above). So in addition to the pool itself, there's likely to be pool equipment, pipes, etc in that area. Four of the spaces are lined up with the four pool/water areas.
  8. Yes! Those are the ones! I have also found them in St. Thomas at one of the port shops. I have them on my covered deck, they 'crawl' around up at the top by the ceiling.
  9. Wow, I have never seen that in there. I was there before Covid, then again last year and never noticed it. I did purchase a lovely metal lizard, lol. I'll have to look more closely when I go back next year.
  10. Labadee is a private compound run by Royal. It's not going to be a port with the kind of shops you're thinking about. Only Royal ships stop there, the crew brings the food from the ship. The entire compound is surrounded by fencing and security. So while you're in Haiti, you are confined to what is basically an extension of the ship, like Coco Cay. So no liquor stores, or any stores, other than a vendor market selling their wares. This is the extent of it, pretty remote. The buildings are the bathrooms and food service areas.
  11. I hadn't clicked on that room but when you mentioned the number, I see it now. Yes, it does look to be over the smoking area. I think the bigger issue for me, would be the potential for noise from people using that area, especially late at night, laughing, talking, etc.
  12. oops! And I've sailed on Odyssey, but I'm not a smoker. I was going by the deck plan.
  13. when you get to cruisedeckplans site, click on your ship, then click on what deck you're thining about. Scroll down and you'll see 'cabin guru'. That will open a new window and you can click on a deck, then any room and it will show what is above and below that room.
  14. It's on the starboard side, but quite a distance from the studio cabins. If you go to the website cruisedeckplans dot com, you can use the cabin checker tool (free) to see what is above and below your cabin.
  15. Yikes, that hotel is like a prison from the 1960's. I've had the 'pleasure' of staying there twice. Airport 'view' window, and the lovely bath. Both rooms I had were identical. Weird smell too.
  16. When I had this happen and called Royal about 5 days before, they told me they could make the name change up to 3 days prior, not including the sail date. So that would be tomorrow for yours, if that's still what they allow. I'm pretty sure that as long as one person in the room is from the original booking, it can be done. Obviously any cruise planner things get canceled and replacing them might be more expensive--and also have a deadline of probably tomorrow.
  17. ha! She will totally think it's worth it. And remember, put phones in airplane mode and turn on wifi. Since you won't have the paid wifi, you will be able to use the messenger function on the Royal App (it's free), but remember to enable notifications for both of you. And if you yourself want to check email or something on the web, she can log out and then you can log in on your phone for a bit too. Or tablet, etc. You can use as many devices as you want, but just one at a time.
  18. and it probably does She'll just have to visit your room and sit on the sofa there, lol. Sounds like a fun family trip! I looked around and am 99% sure she won't have a window, it's just the 2 on each side of the card room. But I do love deck 12, stayed there a few times on Oasis class. Super convenient.
  19. and how do you know that her room will only have a chair? Just because 12916 does, doesn't mean hers will. Although I think many times they do put a chair as it gives a bit more floor space since interior rooms can be pretty small, as you've seen in photos and videos.
  20. So here's the scoop on those rooms. That area used to be the diamond club before Oasis was Amped. That is why a couple do have a window, which remained from the prior Diamond club. And whether they have a chair or a sofa, the room sizes are the same. It depends on the way they set up the furniture and if the room sleeps more than two and needs a sofa bed. There's a small chance hers could have a window too, but I wouldn't count on it, I think it's just the two rooms on either side of the card room. 12916 should be classified at a 2T, just like 12918, which are "Promenade View Interior" rooms versus a 4V interior that sleeps 2. But great location on deck 12! I'm guessing you booked those other ones well before this one, hence needing to go with a guarantee/interior for more $ than the others?
  21. From the deck plans, it doesn't appear to be 'smaller than average' for an inside. The inside cabins are 172 sq ft--so it's smaller than a balcony room, but almost all the insides are that same size of 172 sq ft.
  22. Hi @mattR, I just got an email with a new 'sale' for my Navigator sailing this summer. Wifi for my sail date dropped to $16.99 for a one device package. So now it's a whole four bucks less, lol. But for that price, it might make sense to buy the full sailing package and not have to worry about it. Because of the onboard, single day price is about $25 or $26, it's not all that much more for the package. Just my two cents.
  23. As others have said, it's about $26 to 28 per day, give or take a couple bucks either direction because they use dynamic pricing. I'm on one of the 4 night Catalina and Ensenada sailings later in the summer. I just checked and this is what it would cost for the full sailing. That's for one device. But if you wanted to check your email or look at something on the internet, she can log out, and you can log in. No matter what, make sure your phones are in airplane mode! Airplane mode on, Wifi On. You'll connect to the ships wifi/intranet to be able to access the app so you can see what's going on each day.
  24. It may have changed, but we had a letter in our room with our Cabana number on it. This was last year on Symphony.
