  1. Thanks a - yet one has to read and understand the CoC in the first place.... It is possible that this might have been caught before final payment were the OP or their TA checked to insure that nothing changed at that point. This is not to say that I, personally, would not be disappointed as well with the 'unannounced' changes but still get on the ship and proceed to enjoy myself... bon voyage
  2. Of course you do... if in fact it is that long - BUT - you do have a TA let them do it for you or do you trust them at this point? LOL bon voyage
  3. Sorry for the 'ambiguously' and not directly announced cabin changes for your previously selected cabin choices. I Am very happy to know that you plan to take it out on the on-board staff who most likely had no hand in the decision to move you... Especially given your status with Captains Club, how dare they!!! What would be your thoughts to board only to find out that your cabin was amidst of the oasis of C-19 quarantines? I Am sure they tried (to some degree) to get you the same cabin for the B2B and was not successful. Maybe they can offer you a waiver to stay in the original cabin, regardless of its' designation for quarantine, so you can stay where you are??? Not sure if one can volunteer to do that, maybe worth a try??? It is never too late to cancel, just have to think what the point would be at this juncture for a principle point. Sorry to hear that you have chosen to not have a nice vacation due to this, yet I can only say 'PLEASE try to enjoy and make the most of it... regardless'. Let us know how you enjoy the sailings regardless of this snafu... In health and bon voyage bon voyage
  4. k - then those are the ones I Am thinking about... Thank you for the clarification... bon voyage
  5. Unless I mis-read/mis-interpreted, there have a few posts concerning non-retreat cabins that have 'traditional' balconies which are snapped up once sailings are released... bon voyage
  6. Of course they can on E-Class if they book early and also in certain categories if this is important. And, of course, the fares will be higher for those cabins as well, so if price is a factor we need to stick with M & S Class vessels for the time being (or maybe forever)... bon voyage
  7. tb - reminds me of Lou Reeds song "Walk On The Wild Side"... LOL I would not worry much about the 'signs', if one is approached about a particular sign, just look at them askewed and then they will know you have no clue as to what they are talking about... I know as I have done it often, even if I did know what the sign was... LOL bon voyage
  8. IMO, we can... Yet, when a poster indicates they were disappointed in the IV's as they did not know it... What discussion, at that point, is there to be had??? bon voyage
  9. Which means that you do need to book on your own. While many of us are picky in terms of aisle or window, front or back of plane... which airline we fly is of no real consequence as many do not fly often enough to think or worry or get the points for. bon voyage
  10. Did you fall 'under', with or in any of the letters??? LOL bon voyage
  11. dd - I do try to give many individuals a great degree of credit until they do their worst to let me know it was not worth it, at least in the short run provides a great deal of humour... bon voyage
  12. Disappointed??? Were anyone to be disappointed, then it is deservedly so, as that goes to point out that someone did not review X's home page and see what the ship and its' amenities are. Booking blindly without context is a real disappointment for sure, then some of us do not worry about it, too much, just as long as we are on a ship. Not too sure how many of us would book and fully pay for a product which we did not know about for such amazing amounts and for such an anticipated amazing time only to be surprized that our homework or lack there of yielded an undesirable cabin??? Who knew??? bon voyage
  13. Ahhh, language and the sweetness of understanding and interpretation of meanings... one of the things which makes the world feel small, along with music... Only if more of us would take the time to ask 'what does that mean' before taking uncertain action... LOL bon voyage
  14. Of course you immediately proceeded to light up a cigar, right??? LOL bon voyage
  15. Most likely a comment I would have never repeated but would respond by letting the poster know there are lines out there which are adults only, if children are the 'real' issue. On many of our sailings with children, we have found them to be overwhelmingly polite and gracious and well behaved. Were there a few who were not? I presume so, but we did encounter them as apparently the original messenger has or had... We travel with one couple who bring their seven (7) yo daughter on the sailing rather it is seven (7) days or 12. She always spends the majority of her time in The Kids Club, by that I mean just about every waking moment. At any rate, it would be 'somewhat' interesting to hear what that person has encountered to make such a request... maybe not. bon voyage
  16. Mr. D - thank you so much for the compliment, yet I count you amoungst a few of the mentors I have had here... Still trying to rise to your level... bon voyage
  17. A real trooper, as I knew you are!!! Now you can post this in a separate thread about CS calls... LOL bon appetit and bon voyage buddy...
  18. L - NO, I want you to start calling today and hang on until a Rep picks up, no matter the length of time!!! LOL bon appetit and bon voyage
  19. LOL - get thee behind Me satan!!! I want the Iconic Suite... bon voyage
  20. I Am sure it is a case of the eyes being bigger than their gullet!!! LOL Cheers and bon voyage
  21. Yes, yet the main takeaway from the OP is, X arranged new flights automatically, without her having to worry about doing it. bon voyage
  22. Yes, for friends who were thinking of not going because of the one who is not vaccinated. I did tell them that if things changed back, they could cancel without penalty before final payment AND they needed to get travel insurance within 10 days after making the deposit for some further protection after final payment date if things changed again... Thank you and everyone else for your input and direction, much appreciated!!! In health and bon voyage
  23. With garlic powder no salt or butter, please and thank you!!! In between matinees... LOL bon voyage
  24. Yes, I will be happier on embarkation day and all goes off without a hitch.... bon voyage
  25. Which is fine by me, as my email to them was specific enough about the situation.... no detail was left out about the pending passenger. I wanted clarification and they confirmed what I had hoped they would. In health and bon voyage
